Akira’s POV

  Three weeks have passed since the incident in the woods occurred. I had called in sick to avoid shooting with Ryan. No one knows where I had been.

My stress buster in the past three weeks was cooking so I had cramped up myself in my restaurant’s kitchen and was making food all day long.

My family tried visiting me but I had avoided them. I need time to get over the fact of the existence of supernatural beings and moreover being a part of them myself. Ryan did try to talk to me but I was so confused about everything that I just couldn’t bring myself to talk to him although I was dying every day by not talking to him but I needed to get my head right.

It’s getting really late today working in the restaurant. As I am about to leave I notice that no one else is there in the restaurant. I shut it down and start for home. As I am about to sit in the car I am pulled behind from the door of the car. I crash into a hard chest.

I turn around and wished that I should have left earlier. There in front of me are 2 black eyes glowing in the dark. Emotions like anger, hurt, pain, relief and I guess love is what I am seeing in the most beautiful eyes in front of me.

God he is very angry. HELP ME.

Ryan holds my shoulders tight and pushes me back so that my back is now leaning to my car.

“For once you could have at least texted me back saying you are fine. You can’t even think what I have gone through in all these days. I understand it was a lot to take in for you. But don’t you think till the time you won’t talk about it, you won’t get your answers and you would get more and more confused and terrified. I know I am nothing to you but about your parents? Don’t they deserve to know about you? Meet you? Talk to you? Do you even realize what you have made them go through?”

I just keep staring at him. Completely lost of words I shift my gaze to elsewhere.

“Look at me when I am talking to you. Your family doesn’t deserve the treatment you are giving them. They care about you and didn’t want you in danger that is the only reason they kept you away from them. That is the only reason they didn’t tell you about our kind’s existence. Your life was in danger Akira. You are supposed to be the most powerful being in the world. There are people out there somewhere who either want you dead or want to mate you to get your powers.”

He hesitates to continue. I see the wave of possessiveness come over him instantly which tells he can’t even think of me being with someone else.

“Akira it will be fine if you don’t talk to me but talk to your family. And remember that I love you and will always love you forever. Just do 1 thing for me, Please. Send me at least one text every day or let me see you once a day to make sure you are okay. And please stop sulking and forgive your family. I know that you are sulking and have been sulking these past days. Just stop it and face the truth. I just needed to say this. I won’t disturb you again. Bye. Take care.”

He kisses my forehead and starts walking away.

Should I really forgive everyone and already accept the fact? Have I been really sulking on my own that badly? In that moment I made up my mind. I don’t care what the future has for me but without Ryan and my family I can’t do anything.

“Going so soon Mr. Arrogant?” As soon as the words leave my mouth he stops dead in his tracks.

“I am tired. Tired of everything going on. I want a break. Please take me somewhere.” He turns around and our eyes meet. I search his eyes for knowing what he is thinking. He is searching my eyes to probably see if I am lying or joking.

I just couldn’t handle myself and started running to him who was standing around ten steps away. I jump in his arms which he happily opened for me. We hold each other tightly.  I feel really guilty for avoiding everyone. Ryan is right forgivness is better than sulking.

Embracing each other we didn’t notice the crowd gathering around us. We wouldn’t have noticed also but as they say all good time or things come to an end. And just like that we were interrupted.

“Well, well look who we meet”

Ryan tenses as soon as he hears the voice. We leave each other’s tight embrace. Ryan pushes me behind him.

I sneak from behind him trying to see who this person is. But what I see becomes the biggest shock of my life. This is really really unexpected.

Because that person is…………….

I know I promised to write earlier but I am really sorry…… I was not well…

I know this is a short chapter but I promise tomorrow I will upload an even bigger chapter.

I want some suggestions please help me on the following things:

·        Should I introduce a love triangle or not?

·        Should I finish the story fast or take it slow?
