Akira’s POV

It’s been a month since the shoot started. Ryan has been very helpful with my scenes. He has guided me when needed. But he has been my pain in the a** too.

My family came to visit me last night. We had a lot of fun. I felt like mom and dad wanted to tell me something but they were very hesitant. I hope nothing is serious. My dad is pampering me a lot. He had already gifted me an Audi R8 but now he gifted me a Yacht too. I have not seen it yet as he told me about it yesterday only.

Ryan has been keen on making me his girlfriend. His attempts have been very cute but I don’t know if I want to be with him. Although a part of me is dying to commit to him, be with him all the time but I am not able to accept it. May be what happened in my past I don’t want to taint Ryan’s and his family’s reputation.

Right now I am on my way to my Parent’s home. Dad told me to come for some discussions regarding the restaurant. Well I got free two hours early and I don’t have anything to do so I thought why not go home. I hope dad is free.

“Where is dad?” I ask as soon as I enter the hall of the house. A maid directs me towards the study room and tells me he is in a meeting. I initially wait outside but I get sudden urgency to use the washroom. I go to the one attached to the study.

“Rogues have been spotted King with Vampires. It’s not very safe. We have to be very attentive.” I hear a very familiar voice say. I can recognize it anywhere. What in the world is Ryan doing here? I thought he was sick or so was I told. And why in the world are they talking about ‘Rogues’ and ‘Vampires’.

But how is this possible? They can’t be real. Or are they?

Wait! Ryan is talking to my dad about it does this mean they both know about it or does this mean they are also one of them? Oh God!! I don’t know what to do? Should I leave or confront them. I don’t even know whether they are talking real shit or reading some damn script. Damn it!!! Are these beings really real? The myth of the supernaturals is it really real? I am beyond confused.

I walk out of the Washroom and wait outside the study. I am going to wait and see what happens. I can’t leave my family but I will definitely do my best to figure out what were they talking about.

After another half an hour, Ryan and dad walk out of the study still talking. They have not noticed me yet and they are about to head towards the hall.

I clear my throat to gain their attention. “Akira what are you doing here..?” Ryan questions. Dad seems to be a bit nervous. May be they both are worried whether I heard anything or not.

“Nothing, Jay sir called me to discuss something.” I answer Ryan and he gets confused as to why would dad call me to discuss something. Dad tells him it’s about a film knowing that I don’t want to blow my cover up.

“Akira come, let’s go to my study. And discuss things.” Dad tells along with a good bye to Ryan who still doesn’t look convinced. Dad goes to the study and Ryan stops me.

“If you don’t mind, will you go out with me tonight?” he asks. “Sure let me know the time and place.”

“Don’t worry I will pick you up at 8. Be ready and dress casually please.” He winks at me and leaves.

I enter the study room and sit opposite dad.

“What happened dad?”

“Akira this is very important. Your life is in danger. Some people came to the restaurant asking about you. They are aware of our connection. I don’t know how they came to know about it but they know it and they either want to claim you or they want you dead. Although they are not the only ones, who are behind your life. I agreed to keep our relation secret because I am aware of the danger that comes after the revelation. Please be extra careful and I needed your permission to tell a few people I trust about you.” Dad said.

What in the world do these people want from me? Gosh I don’t know what to do?

“Dad, please tell me everything. Who are these people? What do they want from me? I am not a kid who won’t understand.” I request.

“You will come to know everything with time. Please respect that.”

“Fine, when do you want to tell the others?”

“Tomorrow at lunch come here. The others will be here too.”

“Ok. Now I have to go. Bye dad.”

“Bye”

I enter my car but instantly my conscience tells me to get out. I feel creepy. And out of nowhere my mouth and nose is covered with a cloth. The last thing I remember before blacking out is that there are 2 people in my car and one of them orders the other to take the car to the forest. Weird!!!

Ryan’s POV

After leaving King’s house I go to my house to plan the dinner date. I wonder what are King and Akira hiding from me. I know they were not going to discuss about a movie. But what else could they be discussing about. Am I forgetting something?

With less time for the date I keep my doubts at bay and concentrate on the planning. My wolf is on edge. I don’t know why?

“What is wrong with you” I ask him.

“Go to mate. Go to mate. Go to mate.” he replies

“Why? We just met her and I don’t want to ruin anything between us.”

“She is in danger. Go to her.”  

What the hell? I shut my Wolf out and head towards King’s house.

“Where is Akira?” I demand the King.

He stares at me shocked at my outburst but replies to me “She left around half an hour back. What is wrong?”

“My wolf is at edge and he told me that Akira is in danger.”

“Wait how does your wolf know this?” He quiets down for a while thinking and looks at me and again says “You are her mate?” he states it more like a question.

“Yes and I want her now. She is in danger King. We have to save her.”

“Don’t worry nothing will happen we will find her.”
