INT. CLASSROOM - DAY

DUNCAN, 16, "normal" student, is on his chair in his physics class thinking about what had happened last night.

DUNCAN

(saying it in his mind) I just got to act normal. No one will find out. I hope...

DAVID, 16, Duncan's friend, relatively fit for a boy like him, tall, brave, sits next to Duncan..

DAVID

Hey dude, how you doing?

DUNCAN

Oh I'm doing ok. How about you?

DAVID

I'm good until now since the teacher is here. Wish there was a substitute.

MS.WHITE, old lady, Duncan and David's physics teacher, interrupts their conversation with the lesson..

MS.WHITE

Hello students. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. So today we are going to talk about speed, velocity, and acceleration.

DUNCAN

Why do I even go to this class? I hate this teacher. She is so boring.

DAVID

I know she is. She's the worst.

MS.WHITE

Everyone pay attention to the board.

DUNCAN

You know what. I'm just going to go to sleep. Wake me up when the class is over.

And so he does. Duncan puts his head down and sleeps. David is left alone, with no one to talk to. He pays attention to Ms.White's lesson. Duncan, still asleep, dreams of something that will change his life.

INT. INSIDE DUNCAN'S DREAM - DAY

DUNCAN

Even in my dream, I'm still in here.

Duncan is deep asleep in his dream that takes place in the same classroom he is currently at in the real world.

DUNCAN

Hey David you wanna get out of here. I hate this place.

DAVID

Wait wait, hold on. Can you see what there is in that corner?

David points at the corner of the classroom.

DAVID

I've been trying to ask the other students but none of them can see it apparently.

DUNCAN

Yeah I see a lady dressed in black. I think she has wings too. Is that who you are talking about?

DAVID

Yes. I thought I was going crazy but since someone else can see it, then I'm not losing my mind.

DUNCAN

She's just looking at our direction.

DAVID

I don't know if she wants something from us. Should I like call her out and ask if she wants something?

DUNCAN

Well I'm not going to. She looks scary.

DAVID

Fine. I'll be the man here. Hey why are you looking at us? You want something from us.
