Chapter 7 ~ (Mutual Friend)

I was completely numb at her question .. Mark told her everything, remember ?, A sound inside my head yelled at me, my inner goddess and her bullshit.

I looked at Alice in disbelief for few moments them shaked my head lightly. After all these years of hiding everything, you have to tell someone !. Here it goes the damn inner goddess.

"Alice, I called him that day and asked him to buy some stuff for me, do you know how stupid is that ?! Well, no." A small smiled was playing on her lips trying to hide before my eyes could catch it.

"That's so sweet." She said softly but it was like a wince.

"Yeah completely sweet, specially when you know that he died on his way back home with my shitloads." I snapped at her.

She stayed quite for a while then she talked. "That called 'fate' and it have nothing to do with you."

"Well, it have something to do with my stupidity." I said coldly without showing a hint of emotion. She staid quite again then she wished me a good night and went back to her room.

Next morning was completely peaceful, the wonderful sunshine was bright in my caramel covered room.

After making a quick breakfast Alice joined me with a playfull smile on her lips which I tried to return politely. I'm not that bad , see !

"What are you going to do with the letter?." Alice asked normally, trying to make a small conversation.

"I will talk to Thalia about it." I mumbled.

"Then what are you waiting for ! Come on girl, we will talk to her now." She raised to her feet and rushed toward the door. After few seconds I went behind her.

We knocked on the door and waited for few minutes, then Talia finally opened the door.

"Oh Amy, good morning! How ar-." She lost her voice once her eyes fell on Alice.

"Good morining to you too, dear Lia." Alice said with a fake British accent, which by the way was terrible.

"Alice." Thalia's voice was barely heard, it was like she can't believe what she just saw in front of her.

"Alice, I thought.. But you were-"

"Okay Lia, as much as I would like to have a long conversation with you I just want to ask you one simple quistion." Alice interrupted Lia cheerfully. And by the way WE ARE STILL STANDING OUTSIDE YOUR HOUSE LIA !

Lia nodded and opened the door wilder for us to come in.

After a long awkward silence, Alice finally talked. God, she is really confident.

"Where is Lucas' stuff?." What the hell Alice !

Lia looked at Alice with wide open eyes, and all the colours in her face, all of a sudden, faded. This is not good

"Why are you asking?" The poor Lia may have a heart attack any momemt now.

Alice showed Lia the letter as an asnwer, and both of us waited Lia to say a word.

"All his stuff are in the grave. He wanted to take everything with him, he always did." With these words from Lia I started losing my temper.

"The grave? With him? What a lame joke Lia ! Look at this God damn piece of letter." I half yelled at her.

"I swear there is nothing here." She whispered while her eyes were fixed in the wooden ground.

Alice raised to her feet and nodded for me to go with her. She is acting like a boss.

"I will see you later, Lia" I said and went out of her house without saying any word to Alice. What the hell just happened there few minutes ago ? My inner goddess was sitting crossed legs, waiting my next move.

"Amy, wait me at your house. I will be right back." I just nodded at Alice's words then went back to my house. I started thinking about everything that happened with me from that day at school until what happened at Thalia's house few minutes ago.

After having an endless-quistions-tornado in that small head of mine, I fell asleep then woke up on Alice's voice telling me to wake up because something important is going on, so I woke up.

After taking a quick shower I got dressed and went downstairs expecting Alice to be at the living room, but I didn't found Alice alone there.

The newbie was sitting in my couch talking with the hottest boy at my school ! And there was another hot guy I don't know him.

I was standing at the bottom of the stairs watching Alice laughing, along with the hot guys and after what seemed like forever sho noticed me.

"Oh Amy, you are here!" No shit Sherlock ! "Come here you have to meet my lovely brother and his friends." Brother ?!

"This is Onur here." Onur ?! Is that even an English name?. "No it's not an English name, it's Turkish. His mother is Turkish." Alice said calmly like she was reading my mind. Onur has that wonderful tanned skin with sand blone hair, and don't forget that smirk that was playing on his lips. Boy I start liking this guy.

"Hello there, love." Love? Somehow that was expected from our school's playboy.

"Hello Onur." I said with a light nod.

"You will know these two later, now let's go! We have a mission to complete. " Alice said cheerfully and the others nodded there heads, agreeing with her.

"Umm, where you all guys going?" I asked trying to understand what was going on.

"You are going with us love." Onur said, putting his hands in his pocket.

"Okay, where are we going?" I corrected myself coaxing for an answer.

"We have an old mutual friend we have to visit, love" Mrs.Oh-so-wonderful smirk-er said with a wink. Oh no.

Here I am, sitting between Onur and Jake at the back of Alice's care. Jake is Onur's best friend. They are the hottest guys at our school. All the girls at our school are throwing themselves at them, and to be honest, I used to have a little crush on Jake, A little crush ! And that was when we were young, before I met Lucas.

"So what was written in your letter, love?" Mr. Onur said and my face swapped to look at him. How did he know about the letter ?!

"Alice told me about it." He said with a small smile while my face was blank. "Plus" he said taking out of his back pocket a white envelope similar to mine. Oh no ..

"What is written in your letter?" I asked him out curiosity and in hope to find a clue about the sender.

"Some old memories about what we had in the past." I didn't' know why he looked away when he answered my question.

"What do you mean by us ?"

"Lucas and I. We were pretty close friends. I got this letter today from a weird little girl, who refused to tell me who sent this litter or who gave it to her. I told Dan and Alice because they are like a family for me. Alice told me about you and here we are." He tool a deep long breath after explaining everything.

"We are here people!." Dan said before I could understand all the information that Onur suddenly threw at my face. Dan is Alice's big brother, he has wonderful blue greenish eyes with dark blonde or brown curly hair, not to forget that he is pretty tall and handsome.

When I went out of the car and released where we are, my breath hitched in my throat and my body tensed.

That's not good....
