The dragon prince was staring from a far at the Cathlea's armies walked straight toward their families with the biggest smiles on their face. They were immediately enveloved in a warm hug and soft whispers of "Welcome home,". Many of them even got tears streaming down on their cheeks. Not sad tears, but a happy ones. Even they were back home with full of injuries, it couldn't erase the shine of happiness on their eyes. The long war had ended, the win was on their side, peace would be theirs once again.

Wang Qing teared his gaze away. It should be a heartwarming views, but truth to be told, he almost couldn't feel anything inside his heart. Everything was pitch black, empty and lonely. Seeing how happy these people with their loved ones just like a hard punch that he had lose his. To make it worse, he'd lose it because his own foolishness.

With victory on their side, the dragon prince supposed to be would be allowed to come back to Cavelean. He should be delighted. But then he remembered, what if Dayu still hated him and there wouldn't be any chance for him anymore?

Staring down at his own feet, he turned away. He had lose his mate. There would be no cure for his aching heart.

"Young prince, where are you going?"

Wang Qing's steps stopped. He glanced back and saw Cathlea's king and queen approached him. He immediately turned back and gave a proper greetings for the two elders.

The queen stared worriedly at the dragon prince. She could see a long wound on the dragon prince's back when he was about to walk away earlier and now he faced them, the queen also found there was a big wound on the prince's shoulder and chest.

"Have you get your wounds being treated?" The quuen looked at him with her big and unblinking eyes. She reminded him of Dayu so much. It was true that the omega took over his mother's appearance. Their kindness also the same.

The dragon prince waved his hands softly, "No, it's okay, my queen. This is nothing serious. We should prioritize the heavy injured armies first," He said, 'This is still nothing compare to the pain I gave to my mate,' His mind immediately added.

I will get myself treated in my room," It pained him even more seeing these two wonderful people treated him so kindly when all he did was looking down on them and even hurting Dayu. He shouldn't take too much kindness from them because even now the dragon prince already didn't know how to pay them back.

"Are you still going to be that stubborn?" The queen questioned, "Even if I say that if you refuse to treat your wounds we won't let you to read Dayu's letter?"

"Wha... what?" The dragon prince was trembling. His eyes were as big as a saucer while staring at the queen with hope and disbelieve.

"You heard it right, young prince. Go get your wounds treated and we will give you the letter later,"

There were too many mishaps that I don't know where to begin. But I would loved to tell you about what I felt when we are being separated by the distances.

There was this mixed feelings inside my heart. Hurt, pain, hatred, anger, sadness, agony and all those negative feelings that overwhelmed my wholebeing. But despite all of that, I can't say that there was no longing at all. How many times I told myself to hate you, but there would be always part of me that yearned for you, loved you, needed you... I wondered if this is the meaning of being a pair of true mates. Even though you were hurt and he tore your heart apart, like a fool you still yearn for him. This was so unfair, that was what I thought before.
