Stan of the dead 💀
I push open the small wooden door to a reveal the sitting room. I see Clyde squeezing Kyle and Kyle burying his face into Clyde's shoulder. I just watch for awhile, whatever happened it's really got Kyle into a mess. Clyde looks up at me and gives me a weak smile, then he whispers something to Kyle and kyle bobs his head up and down in agreement. Clyde stands up walking over to me leaving a sulking Kyle on the sofa.
Clyde: *wispers to me*" your turn"
He pats my back and walls out. I slowly walk over to Kyle and sit besides him. Almost instantly he throws himself at me and placed his head in my chest and continues to cry except now he's crying even more. I gently rub circles into his back trying to calm him slightly.
Kyle:" s-Stan?"
Stan:" yeah Kyle"
Kyle:"t-thank you f-for always being h-here *hiccup* for me. Y-your so amazing."
He starts to cry harder. Jeeze what the hell happened.
Stan:" don't get all cheesy with me dude, you know I'm not good with this stuff"
I hear him chuckle through his tears. He looks up at me for a second then sits up still hugging me. He rearranges his head so it's leaning of my shoulder.
Stan:" what were you and Clyde talking about?"
Kyle:" I just gave him some advice... that's all"
I sigh.
Stan:" Kyle, I can see right through you. Don't lie to me, what else did u talk about"
He smiled and laughed a little.
Kyle:" you got me. We were just talking about the best way to spend our last moments alive. Then we talked about how we would do it. I told him he should tell craig how he felt and he told me I need to....to.... well, except that I deserve to be happy. He said i need to focus on myself and I had never really thought of that before, but the only time I can stop pretending I'm fine is when I'm with you Stan. When I'm with my super best friend."
I felt a lump in my throat. I didn't know what to say because I couldn't think of what he would want to hear right now. Maybe...
Stan:" like we said on the bus " we are never going to loose each other" so for now... you can always be happy, ok? And if it helps at all, you deserve more than to just be happy... you deserve a world where you can be safe and you deserve everything good in it, because your amazing! I'm here for you and your here for me, we got each other's back all the time we have since we were little. I promise that we're going to be ok. Come on, I've got more secret chocolate in my bag let's go finish it off shall we?"
He smiled.
Kyle:" I'd like that."
