CHAPTER THREE
“Hi, here for the party?” “No we’re here to see the flying pig,” what else were he thinks we’re here for. “Come on in then,” Jace said. He looked really cute in that see through black t-shirt and black jeans and converse and his hair was messy as always. Inside was looked nothing like a party and I was getting this really bad vibe. Jace was the only one in the room and there and then I knew coming here was a mistake. I guess Lil and Liz felt the same way cause suddenly they got really clingy. Jace locked the door and Dilan and Michael appeared from nowhere. The three boys stood directly in front of us with evil grins plastered on their faces. Oh no!
“Jace, where is everyone?” Lily asked. “Oh, at home.” “Why are they at home?” Liz asked this time. “Cause Summer Bash is next Saturday.” “Why are we here then?” I decided to brave up with my friends. “Because you are three special girls.” Dilan spoke up instead. “But why …” “That’s enough questions baby girl.” Who was Michael to nickname me? “Don’t call me that!” “What cha gonna do if that’s what I want to call you?” “Umm, well I’ll …..” I trailed off. “That’s what I thought.” “Attitude much meanie mouse,” I said more to myself. ‘What’s that?” “Oh nothing.” “Better be so baby girl.” “Urg!” And he chuckled. Was that fun for him?
“Well make yourself at home, there’s a bunch of movies you can choose from to watch and the kitchen’s over there if you want anything to eat or drink or whatever,” said Jace. “Who told you we were staying?” Lily could be a completely different person when she’s angry. “You can’t get out,” said Dilan. “What you mean we can’t get out? Watch me.” Elizabeth marched to the door and unlocked the door but went nowhere when this type pad thing came out of the wall? “You have a lock password? What the hell?” “YOU CANNOT HOLD US HOSTAGE!”I yelled walking up to him. “You better let us go.” “Hmm, let me think about that nah!”
“What the hell with you!” and I slapped him. “Well baby girl, that just made things a lot worse for you.” Holy Cow! “I’m sorry.” “No, Kails don’t be, if someone should be apologizing it should be them,” said Lily and I walked backwards till I bumped into Elizabeth who looked like she could cry any minute now. “Kailey, I’m scared,” she whispered to me. “Me too liz, me too.” “Well have fun,” said Dilan and they were about to walk away when I stopped them. “Where are you going?” “To play some video games, pick a movie by the time,” Jace said before heading up the stairs. “Why us?” Liz asked in somewhat of a whisper but they heard. “Well you girls never been to a party so we decided to take advantage of that,” Michael said and Dilan continued for him saying , “And, you’re innocent which gives us a plus.” “AT WHAT!” “Enough questions baby girl,” “Stop calling me that!” “Whatever..” And both of them turned to go up the stairs.
“We sat on the couch and spotted the movies they were talking about. Lily reached forward and grabbed them. There was six movies : Abraham Lincoln the Vampire Slayer, The Conjuring, Spring Breakers, The expendables 3, Fast and Furious 4 and Law Abiding Citizens. “Hmm, let’s vote?” Lily asked. “Yea,” Liz and I said in sync. “I pick Abraham Lincoln the Vampire Slayer.” Lily had made her choice, now it was up to Liz and I. “I pick Law Abiding Citizen.” Liz went another direction in choice. “Kail, your turn.” “Umm, I pick Abraham Lincoln Vamp Slayer.” “Well, I watched Law Abiding Citizens already so, Abraham it is.” Liz changed her mind. “Should we wait for them?” Liz asked. “Nah.” Lily said. “They don’t deserve our patience.” I spoke my mind. “True.” And with that said, Lily got up, put the DVD into the DVD player and I switched the television on. I put it into movie mode and waited for the show to start. The television did just but that. It became static and made a very unusual noise. “I think rich boy needs a new t.v,” Liz said. I was about to say something when the television automatically went to live footage.
