WOLFS POV

"Jason did you see the news last night the red reaper is at it again," my Partner and best friend Luka said.

"Hn," I said thinking about the crime lord that had died last night.

"Yeah agent Black's been on the phone all morning trying to convince the departments CEO to let us have the case"

Luka said while pointing to the head of the SDU's office.

"Well I've gotta go and work on a file since your not really paying attention to me"

My overdramatic friend said as he walked over to his desk with his hand over his heart all dramatic like

FLASHBACK

I remember the first day me and Luka met.I was a new recruit and he had been here for the early training and we had to work in pairs for the semesters for a teamwork mark and because I'm not very good at talking to people or trusting them for that matter. I was paired with Luka by random selection but I had never talked to Luka, we just worked and tried to pass.

One day after practice I was walking home and I saw Luka getting beat by some dudes in our class.

"What you gonna do you crybaby"

Jake and his three other friends say while each taking a hit at Luka

"Leave me alone you oversized gorilla"

Luka said while trying to push Jake off of him.

I mean he's not wrong his animal sense must be a gorilla because the dudes just as big as one.

"No, I don't think so you slimy snake"

Jake said as he hit Luka with a force so hard that I could hear something brake. Me being me, could not take it anymore, I hate people abusing their power so I did the next most logical thing I started walking to where Jake and his friends surrounded an unconscious Luka.

"So you find fun in beating the weak" I started with a bored tone in my voice and an equal bored expression on my face. Jake and his friends turn and look at me with annoyed faces. " Well if it isn't the star of the class Mr.wolf, what did we do to have the honor of having your presence here," he asked me in an annoying tone.

I started to lose my patience "get away from him" I said "oh and what will you do if we don't" he asked while laughing, the thing I hate more than people abusing their power is people looking down on me.

"Well if you don't move away from him in the next three seconds I'm gonna punch you so hard your teeth will fall out" I had said in a cold voice looking at him straight in the face.

"Try me you mangy mutt"

Jake said getting closer and closer to my face.

"Okay," I said and smirked

After 5 minutes Jake and his friends were on the ground with several broken bones and blood coming out of their Noses" I warned you"

I went to where Luka lay on the ground I bend down and drape one of his arms on my shoulder and dragged him to the hospital.

"Doctor he needs help immediately, " I said as a doctor and 2 nurses come with a Stretcher. They put Luka on the Stretcher and tack him to the emergency room, I waited patiently in the waiting room. About 50 minutes later the doctor comes out and tells me he is going to be ok. He wanted to see who had brought him to the hospital.

I walked into Luka's room and seen Luka with bandages warped along his arms waist and head, "Hey dude thanks for bringing me here "Luka said

"Hn," I said still not sure if I could trust him

"Is that always how you answer everything, like dude you answer all of the class questions with "Hn"

Luka said looking at me wondering if I can form sentences.

We stare at each other, the room dead silent

"Ok, really man please say something I'm not the best when it comes to quiet places."

I say nothing still debating whether I should waste my breath on some insignificant guy

"Ok let's start over and introduce ourselves, my names Luka and I'm a new recruit in training now your turn," he says

After some time of consideration I see no harm in talking to him we are in the same agency and are partners so why not.

" Yo my name's Jason but call me Wolf," I said.

Soon after Luka gets discharged. Every day he would bug me and talk to me, sure he's annoying but kind of fun and he became my only friend.

END OF FLASHBACK

"Wolf" granny the head of the SDU called pulling me out of thought. Usually, the rest of the agents just call her agent Black but the agents and people close to her call her granny. She's made me and Luka call her granny ever since the first day we meet her when we got sent to her after training.

It's mostly because Luka and I have a complicated past with adult figures.

"Hey granny, "

I said looking at the old women in a classy black and white pant suit, she has salt and pepper hair that's cut up to her shoulders.

She's sitting at a wide grey desk,in front of her is a black file and you could see the tight grip granny has on the file, I started to get a little Curious,she sees my eyes on the file and grips it even tighter her knuckles turning white due to her grip. I take another look at the file and realized that that's the black file, the same black file that consist the top most dangerous and most deadly criminals.

"Hey Jason, How's life been," Granny asked finally placing the folder down but within close reach.

"What's up with the folder" I asked looking at granny and then the folder.

"You've always been blunt haven't you"

Granny said looking at me with a forced smile trying to hide her worried eyes.

"Nothing just worried about the crime-lord who was killed last night" Granny said I could tell she's lying through her teeth but I wasn't gonna say anything.

"I'm gonna need both you and Luka to get ready to go with me in five" Granny said while getting out her chair and starting to get ready.

I walked out of the head office and made my way over to Luka's desk. I seen Luka sitting there filling out a file of a petty thief.

He let out a stressful sigh while pushing back he's blonde hair while his snake print tattoos showing at his wrists and his sleeves falling back and on his elbows

"Luka get ready" I said in my regular and assertive voice

"Huh oh okay" Luka said his voice coloured with a hint of sadness

"You okay" I asked looking at my best friend while he got ready

"Yeah I'm fine" Luka said while fixing his belt

"Are you sure" I asked looking at Luka usually he's only like this when she's here but she's not suppose to be here for another two months.

"Boys let's go" Granny said while Motioning for me and Luka to follow her.

"Yeah we're coming Granny" Luka said his eyes turning back into his quite stupid lust for adventure in them as he walked towards the door where Granny was standing. I followed them to the cars that are outside and as soon as we got in the cars. I felt a chill go down my spine and my sense alerting me. I looked around,I've got a feeling bad feeling about today.
