Secret Love Affair?

The next morning I spent twenty minutes staring at the mirror. Can you see this kind of stuff by just looking at someone? I liked kissing Will, at least I liked it better than kissing any girl but maybe I just wasn't kissing the right girls, and if I am? What does that mean? Do I have to come out? 

Lucy

I've kissed plenty of girls before that doesn't mean I'm a lesbian! plus it's not like Lilia's the most reliable source it's probably all some sort of elaborate plan to get her attention. I'm so worried about Solly I should have been there yesterday.  isn't that what best friends are for? He hasn't shown up to his last two classes and I know he would never miss photography. Maybe he's sick, oh god maybe he is back in the hospital!

 "Did you hear? The fag showed up but has been hiding in the bathroom all day. A few of the boys are gonna go in there and beat him with a camera im thinki-" 

I didn't bother hearing the end all I knew was that if Solly wasn't already in the hospital he would be soon, unless i did something.

Solly

Lucy's small form tears me off my feet in a single motion before she's on top of me holding me down and kissing me.  I'm frozen in place as Lucy brings her lips to meet mine she has me rolling around underneath her on the cold tile of the boys bathroom but soon flips the position sticking her hand into my back pocket. Back in eighth grade me and Lucy contemplated having a relationship but soon decided that we were better off as friends.  Never have i had someone shove their tongue down my throat as far as Lucy currently is. its not sexual, more of a way to shut me up as i attempt to pull away only causing her grip on me to tighten. An intentional cough awards me with my freedom.  I turn around as Lucy re-buttons her shirt that im certain I didn't touch.

 "Well I didn't see that one coming" 

Bryce Colts turns off the camera he was holding and hands it back to one of his many meathead friends who all begin to giggle like sixth graders and walk out of the bathroom. I turn to face Lucy 

"What the hell was that all about?" 

Lucy turns to me with mischievous eyes before finally spilling the reason behind our unwanted kiss

 "I heard Bryce was coming to knock the fag out of you and i thought that if we convinced them we were a couple it would save your ass."

Lilia... I can't believe she started rumors! god i hate petty teenage girls.

 "So are you?" 

Lucy looks up at me through thick eyelashes. Her question was a shock to my system, was I a-a well did I like guys? 

  "Just because you have kissed a girl doesn't mean you're alesbian does it?"

That came out far more harshly than i had intended yet she simply nods her head and I start to wonder who I am trying to convince 

"Plus Will was drunk and he just kissed me randomly right before Lilia walked in its not like we have some sort of secret love affair" 

None of its technically a lie but I can't help but be curious if the thought of an affair type thing with Will really was appealing to me.

This is it this is my chance, how many stupid stories start with two best friends being in a fake relationship and end with them NOT together?

"Okay its settled I'll be your fake girlfriend thing until everyone gets over the whole stupid Will situation and then we will have some dramatic breakup" 

 'Or we won't breakup and you will fall madly in love with me' was what I didn't say out loud. Eliot's eyes seemed to gleam over and think of the situation before he nodded his head slightly "Okay how do we do this?"
