Over and over I've heard parents talking to their children whilst in the fast food restaurant I work in.
Just today a father told his little girl that she should sit down because she was sick and shouldn't be running about.
What on Earth could compel a parent to drag their sick child out of bed and take them to a fast food restaurant?
I really can't understand the logic in giving an ill child unhealthy food. Not to mention that the child could pass on the bug, to other customers or employees.
When I am a mother, my child will have dry toast or hot soup whilst tucked up in bed with a good ol' movie. Instead of puking up and down a restaurant from the kid's table all the way to the bathroom. Leaving some poor sod to mop it up and spray away the foul stench with air freshner.
