Now I understand that people may have complaints and me and my colleagues will always do our best to fix the problem. Whether it be fresh fries or a replacement burger. Right down to switching a child's toy that they got with their meal.
However, some customers complaints I have to try my best not to roll my eyes at. My prime example The Cold Fries Crew.
Every so often, a specific family comes through the door and the moment we see them we know exactly what will happen. It's routine. They get a table. Someone orders. Their food comes. The give each individual their meal. They then eat and talk. However they only eat their wrap or burgers whilst talking and talking... And talking. The chips lay there for the better half of an hour, untouched. One of the CF Crew calls us over or approaches the desk speaking the dull dreaded words "Our chips are cold".
I cannot help but internally scoff. They do this EVERY time. Despite knowing full well that the only reason their chips are cold is because they have let them get that way. It's never because they've been sitting on the pass so long they've gone cold. No. They go cold lying within inches of the Cold Fries Crew's mouths.
