Eight years of hiding later
I woke up breathing heavily. I could feel a bead of cold sweet fall from my face. It was so hot in my place I though if I made it deeper down in the dirt i would be cooler. But Iwas wrong. I am wrong a lot now.
I always think one day I will wake up and there will be a Thoren army ready to fight those awful Humans. But I am wrong they made me the only one in my race, those heartless humans. Human the name made my stomach turn. I hated them they destroyed my life and my family.

Behind those leaves was a big ship it looked like a space ship. It was on the other side of the church. There where people screaming everywhere mother protecting there children but they did not stop them.
I watch them walk up to many people and shot them. I watch as they ran into house and came out a few minutes later with dead body's. I saw a man who come out and watched, Watched people dieing,crying and all he did was laugh. After about an hour all the solders came back and lined up one by one.
The man came around” We did it men we finally have killed this awful race” the man look so happy I wanted to grab a gun and shot him right here. “ YES SIR” said every solder.
“ Come and see what you father has done” the man looked to the ship. A beautiful woman came down and looked around “ Oh honey it is amazing” She then ran to the man and kissed him. “ boy's!” He yelled I watched as a older boy steps out and look's down “ Father was this the right thing” He looked upset “ Yes it was this horrible race was threatening to attack. AND what have I said about calling me father!” He now looked angry like he might take a gun and put it up to his own son. “ Sorry fathe- I mean Grendel!” He then started to walk back to the ship with a little boy ran down to him. “ Sam what happen here” The little boy looked my age. Sam looked up at him “ The future happened Michael” The army Started to cheer. Michael started to cry, Sam picked him up. They both went back to the ship. Before they went in,he looked one last time with his crying brother in his hands. And he must have seen me because he looked in to my eyes and put his finger to his mouth. It looked like he was doing it to his little brother but I knew in my heart it was for me. He then walk straight into the ship.
“ Only 11 and he knows his place” The general looked proud of him “ we have to work on Michael though” The general looked at the lady next to him “ He is 5 give him a chance to grow and get stronger” She looked confident that he would grow up and be strong Both the general and his lady walked on to the ship and followed the Army
It took the ship 5 minutes to fly away. Then I wan alone. I jumped out of the tree and started to walk north. I knew the only human village near here was kilometres away. It would be the only place to be hide.

I got out of my little bed I made. It was a small place on the dirt with a blanket over it and another messy blanket on top. I fixed the messy blanket and placed it neatly on the other blanket. I then looked at the rest of my house the only other thing's in this dirt whole was a red and white checker blanket and that little doll I got a long time ago but her outfit was a mess. With a few pieces of stale bread on it
I garbed one of the pieces of bread and started to eat it slowly. I walked to my door. All it was, was long leaves covering a small whole. Before I left I look at the doll she reminded me so much of my mother. I waved at her and graved a dirty old coat i use as a disguise.It was like in one of my story's that I read as a child but instead of red cape it was a dirty brown and it was so big it covered my whole body and face.
It was a good thing I found this I looked like an awful mess. My hair was now so long it gust touched the end of my back. And I only had one outfit it was ripped jeans and a blue dirty tank top.
Every day has been the same since I moved close to town. Every day I find a spot and sit down and sometimes people give me money. Or the nice other homeless people give me cloths of food. Even though they are nice dose not man anything I still hate humans.
I found a good spot under a nice tree in the middle of town. I sat and watched children play and if I closed my eyes if felt like home. I then heard something hit the floor when I looked down I saw a silver coin. I was so happy I haven't seen one in years. I saw a man walk away so I yell “ Thank you sir” He then turned around and he looked familiar.” Your welcome ma'am” And walked away. I though of what I should buy it could buy anything with this.
I First though what do I need and walked in to a clothing shop and saw a black skirt with a purple top.
I really wanted that so I when up to the cashier “ How much is that outfit” I started to point at it. “ The cashier walked over it is and said 8 bronze coin . I gave her the silver coin.
The silver coin was 15 pieces of bronze I had 7 bronze pieces left. I quickly changed into it and it felt so comfortable. I left quickly I then but my cape back on and walked into the bakery “ How much would 5 coins get me “ He bough back a box of bead that would last me a mouth. I dropped the 5 coins on the table and ran out the door with the box.
I was so happy it was the first time in a long time. When I got outside I started to walk out when I saw a mother and her three children on the street. They where asking people to buy there flowers. I felt so bad for them two of the children looked under 5 and the oldest looked my age when it happen.
I walked up to them and gave them the last of my money. Two of the kid's was starting at some of the bread I looked down and I have 3 lofts. I picked one of them up and held it out for the oldest to take it.
She looked confused at first the mother looked at me like I was crazy or I poisoned it i sat beside them all there eyes glued on me. And took a piece of bread out and took a piece off and ate it myself to prove it was just bread. I then gave the piece to the oldest and she took a big bit and I could hear “ YUMM” from her it almost mad me laught.. I then gave the rest of the loft to the middle child got up and walked away.
I was walk out of the town when solders came out of know where. “ WHERE DID YOU GET THAT FOOD” they yelled in my face to scare me “ I bought it” I tyred walking past the two of them but one garbed my arm and though me to the floor. The box slid away from my arms. “ You stole it didn't you.” He spat in my face I tyred to get up when the other one garbed me and held mt to the floor. “ Maybe we will let you go if you-” He stopped as his hand slid though my cape “ HELP SOMEONE HELP ME” I yelled other hand cover my mouth and called the other man over and held my arm's over my head. I kicked as hard as I could to get him away from me. I looked over around the there people, Some watched them touch me and some ran away and know one would help me.
I felt his hand slid up my skirt. “ NO PLEASE” I screamed tears started to roll down my cheek. “ STOP” I heard a man yell with the box of bread in his hand both men stood up and I fixed my cloths so nothing was showing. I then stood up and I want to use my dark magic on them and kill them but I couldn't or else everyone would know. “ WHAT HELL WHERE YOU TWO DOING” I looked up and it was the man who gave me the money. “ SHE WAS stealing we wanted to teach her a lesson” I looked at them “ I was not stealing I bough that stuff fair and square with the money you gave me” I pointed at him. I then garbed the bread box out of his hands and started to walk to the exit. I started to run out of town but I could still hear him yell at them “ IF I EVER FIND OUT YOU TWO DID THAT AGIEN OR TO ANYONE ELSE YOU WILL BE KILLED UNDERSTOOD”
I could not hear there answers but then I hear someone following me.” Please stop “ I turned around to find him there he was kinda close his eyes where so blue so cute so... WHAT THE HELL am I saying “ I am so sorry ma'am for the confuse here” he held up a bag I took it from him and it was money a lot of it all gold” I dont need this but thank you” I was lied of course but I did not want him knowing it.” I know you need it because I know your a Thoren. I froze.
