-In Professor Ivy's Classroom-

Today was the last day of school for the whole summer, it's the longest I have ever stayed in one town. I was back in Professor Ivy's classroom listening to her drone on and on.

"Learning is never seasonal, so do allow the shimmering light of summer to refresh and illuminate your fertile minds. Your future greats you with its magic mirror, reflecting each golden moment, each emboldened choice. So use these incipient summer days and weeks wisely and well... Professor Ivy was saying but I wasn't really paying attention, Nate and I kept glancing at each other and smiling.

Yes, Rudy? Professor Ivy asked as she asked Rudy who was raising his hand.

"So, what's your favorite memory, Professor Ivy? Rudy asked.

The whole class groaned at his question.

"Summers has passed fleetingly since I was your age. But, I remember them with poignant clarity, so... Professor Ivy said. "There was that unforgettable Summer. Professor Ivy said.

Summer, summer! Hugh said excitedly.

Summer, Summer! Hugh and White said.

Summer! Dawn said.

Summer! I said smiling at Nate.

Summer! Rosa said.

SUMMER! SUMMER! SUMMER! SUMMER! SUMMER! SUMMER! Everyone started cheering.

Ooh! Come on!

Everyone threw their papers up in the air and Hugh strode up to Professor Ivy, twirling her around and giving her a kiss on the cheek. I sat on top of my desk.

Hugh- What time is it?

Everybody-Summertime!

It's our vacation.

Hugh- What time is it?

Everybody- Party time!

That's right, say it loud

Hugh- What time is it?

Everybody- Time of our lives.

Anticipation

Hugh- What time is it?

Everybody- Summertime!

School's out. Scream and shout.

Nate- Finally summer's here

Good to be chilling out

'I'm off the clock. The pressure's off.

Now my girl's what it's all about.

I smirked and laughed playfull as Nate spun around in his seat and slowly started to approach me where I was sitting on my desk. I stuck some random poses for fun as I began to sing.

Y/n- Ready for some sunshine.

For my heart to take a chance.

Nate- Ooh yeah

Y/n- I'm here to stay, not moving away

Ready for a summer romance.

Nate grinned up at me as he stood in front of my desk. I rested my hands on his broad shoulders as Nate gripped my waist and helped me down. He gestured for me to take his hand, which I did.

Nate&Y/n- Everybody's ready, going crazy, yeah we're out.
