Chapter 2:

I was walking down the crowded hallway to my locker when a hand shot out and caught my waist.

"Y/n, I understand you've moved every summer for the past five years. I'd hate to think today is... goodbye? Yancy said to me grinning.

"No worries. My mom promised I'm here until graduation next year. I said to Yancy.

"Bless mom's, little heart. Yancy told me not smiling as much anymore.

Yancy, we got off to a rough start, but you came through. You helped me with the winter musical". I said.

I did? Yancy asked me confused.

Those vocal exercises...I said and did the exercise and accidentally pushes Yancy into her locker. "See you"! I said smiling before walking away and continuing to my locker.

I was standing by my locker, putting away my books away. I looked at my locker door and I saw a picture of Nate and I from a few months ago. I smiled and touched it.

Your summer activities consultant has arrived. Nate said coming up and standing behind me.

"I hope some of those activities will include a job. I said to him, turning around.

Hey, whatever happens, as long as we're together, it's cool. Nate said.

"You promise? I asked smiling at Nate.

"Here's my promise. Nate said before he walked around me, standing behind me. Nate took a deep breath before putting a necklace around my neck. I look down at it and I saw it was the letter N. I turned around to face Nate. I smiled at him.

"N' As in Nate? I asked Nate, giggling at him.

Well, I... yeah. Nate said as he nodded his head. We both leaned in to kiss each other, not paying attention to our quite crowed friends standing behind us since we were so lost in each other's eyes. We were touching lips when a kid with a yearbook walked up to us, oblivious to interrupting our moment.

"Hey, man. How's it going? Nate asked while taking the pen that the kid was offering him. I waited patiently as Nate signed his yearbook. The kid smiled before walking away. Now. Where were we? Nate asked with a wink. I giggled as Nate turned back to me taking my hands in his before he leaned down to kiss me when he was interrupted again. This time by Hugh.

Hoops! Let's go. Hugh said walking by us, smiling.

"Yeah, sure. Sure. I'm not busy or anything. sarcastically and smiled before walking away. Rosa and White came up to me giving me a look. I grinned at them and nodded happily before walking down the hallway. Red and Fire close behind us.

"We could go to the movies, download music. Oh, and I'm definitely teaching you a twisted flip on a skateboard. Nate said to me as we walked down the hallway, hand-hand.

Oh, and I have a first aid training, so I can patch myself up, afterwards". I said smiling at Nate.

"Alright. Nate said happily, and I giggled.
