"That Dead-eyed man you saw," Tim said to Sapphire, "That was almost certainly a man named Silver Dawn."
"What?" Trisha said, remembering Dawn form her dream. For a second Trisha thought that maybe her dream had been real, before realizing that Dawn had not looked at all like the man in her dreams.
"Let me ask you this," Michael asked after listening to Sapphire explained herself, "Why did no one ever hear of this virus, especially with our tools before the last World-War. There would of been some piece of evidence of this virus, and they would of been able to eradicate it."
"Well from the documents we received we think it was a man-made virus that was produced during the war, as several accounts are documented after the war. We cannot be sure though, due to the lack of information given during the war."
Michael responded, "Well, me and the others don't have a place to go, and are currently just wandering around, so you can join us and run away too if you want."
"Really, are you sure you guys are okay with this, I was part of the problem?"
Michael looked over to Trisha with a look tiredness that showed how much of a toll this ordeal was taking on him, "Trish what do you want, it was your village and family she ruined so I feel like if anyone had any ill-will it would be you."
"I'm fine with it. You never burned down any cities, so I don't care." Trisha figured that Sapphire couldn't be that bad when Sapphire didn't actually want to hurt innocents, she just wanted to make sure no one got hurt by "the dead-eyed man" ever again. Trisha saw this as honorable, and also respected her for abandoning this goal when she would have to hurt civilians.
"After doing this crap for two days in a row I'm starving, I'm going to go grab some food, any of you want to come along?" Trisha asked the group
"I'll go with you," chimed Stephanie happily (why she was so happy was beyond Trisha)
"Me too," said Harris a bit worriedly
"Really?" questioned Trisha with a raised suspicious eyebrow, "I thought you hated this stuff."
"Yeah, but i think we should uh," then he pointed eyes at Sapphire and Michael, who were now discussing something quietly.
"Are you sure we should leave them hear alone?" Trisha asked with a raised eyebrow, "I think Michael was about to stab her, and that would be quite unfortunate."
Harris chuckled a little, "Michael has always been one to forgive his friends, and as long as you don't hurt one of his other friends he should be fine with you"
"Yeah," replied Steph with a sly grin, "We just better make sure that we don't come back and find them making out."
Trisha started to giggle a bit, while Harris just looked at Steph the same way a parent would look if their child had made that joke.
Trisha then remembered that Tim existed and snarkily asked "Do you wanna come too Tim or stay here and watch the sappy romance novel unfold?"
To the surprise of Trisha, Tim replied "I'm actually going to go back into town, see if I can find anything of value, or to be more exact, anything involving the Time God, and look for a notebook. if i'm not back in time for lunch then don't wait up for me, I can make food on my own."
"Kay see ya" and with that statement Trisha and the others went to look for lunch. Regrettably they had trouble finding anything in the woods, even after looking under every rock, fallen log, and in every tree. The reason for this was that earlier in the day there was a large group of people running into the woods after Tim and Trisha released all the prisoners, and this exodus created confusion and chaos, which animals are generally not a huge fan of, so the animals had all run away far away to even denser parts of the woods, which our human friends could not reach. While they did eventually find food, it was already past lunch time, and dinner time was closing too.
When they did arrive back Trisha saw that Michael and Sapphire were now both laughing and being all giggly about things only they would know. Michael soon went to help the others prepare dinner, but not before joking "Took you long enough, did Harris demand that you not kill anything until his hunger took over his conscience?"
"No, the chaos earlier caused all the animals to hide away," replied Steph, who was either very tired, or very hungry. the rest of the day went on like this, and Trisha was happy to see everyone getting along
...
Trisha sat on a slight slant in the ground next to her tent, and staring at the stars. After dinner she didn't want to talk with the others, as she was already wore out from the day, but she was also restless and found that sleep was impossible for her, so she decided to sit outside her tent and enjoy the cool night air, and look up at the stars which were shining bright tonight. While staring up at the night sky, Michael came and sat down next to her.
"You a fan of star-gazing?" Michael asked in a sleepy voice.
"Kinda, I don't know any of the constellations, or where any of the planets are, but I like to stare at them when I can't sleep?"
"Oh, so you can't sleep? Is there anything in particular bothering you, or are you just insomniac?"
"well , I've been thinking, these guys are clearly after us, so what are we going to do? I mean we can't stay here, this is most likely the first place they'll look at. It's also not like we can keep running forever. What we really need is a safe place, but I have no idea where that would be."
"Listen, I haven't the foggiest idea what we're doing to do, but I guarantee I will figure something out, okay?
"Okay, how is yours and Sapphire's relationship now."
"Me and Sapphire finally made up, and we're good now.
"You know, i could show you the constellations and planets, I learned all about them in New York."
"Sure., and with that they spent the next hour or so talking about the stars, constellations, planets, and even briefly aliens, before both tiring out and going to sleep. In this sleep Trisha had another very interesting dream, but one that was much, much more sinister in its implication of who Tim really is.
