Trisha and everyone else were gathered in the living room, waiting for Tim to make some final preparations for the journey that was before them all. In the meantime the group was discussing what to do after they finish this task and finally settle down for good, which excited everyone.
"Do any of you guys know if we going to stay here with Hector after this mission?" Trisha asked the group.
"I really hope so, he seems nice and I like this style of life." Harris informed the group in a rather quiet voice, and Trisha suspected that he was talking so quietly because he was still not comfortable with her and Sapphire around, despite Trisha always being polite to him, and Sapphire being super nice to everyone, including Harris for the past week.
"Really, I think it might get a little dull staying here, do you not want to do something? I on the other hand, would love to move to Europe." Steph told the group, who had grown bored with this sedentary lifestyle, and talked constantly about Europe, it and Oceania had gone into complete anarchy after the last world war. Why anyone would want to move there is beyond Trisha, as no one had any protection, and you had to live in constant fear of everyone around you.
"Kay Steph, good luck making any friends there while everyone is trying to kill you." Michael joked.
"I won't go there alone, I'll go there with a friend." Steph smiled again when she said this.
As everyone was discussing the future, it occured to Trisha that she had no clue what she wanted to do with her life, and before she could think about it Tim came in screaming (well for most people it was screaming, for Tim it was just slightly louder than normal) "I have done it, I have done everything I need to do, which means that I can now be proud to say that now we can leave and prepare for your final journey, is this not so exciting my dear and lovely people."
Just before they were about to leave, Hector came stumbling through, who had most likely stayed up all night last night, as he had heavy bags under his eyes and spoke a little slower than he usually did.
Hector told them, "I have good news, you know how it would take about two-and-a-half hours to get to the outside of town through the sewers, well I talked to one of my friends and it turns out that we can get you to the outskirts of town with a truck in about 30 minutes"
"Hold up," exclaimed Michael, "Did you not just say that the outside town is chaos and that we should avoid being seen at all costs?"
"Yes, well I was talking to one of my friends, and I told him that you guys are family members passing through, and as long as I am with you, my friend would be happy to take you on his truck."
"Oh, okay," replied Tim, who for some reason, had a hint of nervousness in his voice, which did not help Trisha's anxiety.
"So that brings the total travel time to 2 hours, right?" questioned Michael.
"Yeah, you guys should get there around ten. Once you guys finish you will need to come back through the sewers." Hector then started to pull out a bunch of small pieces of paper from his pockets, "In case you guys get lost I wrote the directions to get here in the sewers on a bunch of scraps for you guys. After this, do you guys know if you will be staying with me long-term? Cause if so we better figure out some way to integrate you guys into the Beast's society so the real members don't try to kill you."
"We have no idea." Michael told him.
"Okay , well we will figure that out later, because right now we need to go."
They walked down to the vehicle that would be taking them. It was a rather simple design, a small metallic box in front of a cube that had the same height and width, but about twice the length, with various pipes and wires being seen under both boxes, all on top of four wheels.
In the front box was a man who told them to get in the big box behind them, which was actually very small on the inside. Trish suspected that this was because the lower part of the trunk contained even more parts and wires.
"Okay now then here is the battle plan," Tim informed the group in a quieter voice which made him hard to hear over the noise of the vehicle, but also meant that no one outside could hear their conversations, "listen, we are almost out of the city, once we are, I will go to the northwest, while you guys just go straight north. Now then after walking for an hour you should see an abandoned radio tower, the base is about thirty minutes west after that, it will look like a old storage house, and you will need to look for a hatch that leads underground in the storage room. Did you get all of that. Okay now then be careful, while there was no one there when I checked, but someone might of been hiding. The room you are looking for will be at the end of a hallway to your left when you guys get underground. The paper's you guys need are in a safe that has the code of 4, 1, 23, 14. Until this very moment, only I knew the code, which is how I know the documents are still there. Once you guys get them you need to come meet me at another base, this time a library belonging to the Beast's which contain books I also need. The base is about an hour from the radio tower in the general southeast position. The place you guys are headed to is an new building built by the beast's but has not been used since they moved their headquarters. It also has a huge flag pole so it should be pretty easy to find. I want to get these books now as the beast's are moving more over here, and are most likely going to start using the library again. Are we also all clear on that plan? ... Sweet then lets go"
