Rose looked up at the sky, it was snow white, like everything else, where was she?
"You are currently in my mind," a voice said, it sounded familiar, but why? Rose looked around for the voice, and finally found a figure in the sky with angelic wings, and its face blurred by the light that was coming from everywhere. She knew the figure must of been the Creature outside of Time "Around you and me are my thoughts, unfortunately my thoughts are unable to be perceived by humans. If the lack of, well anything, starts to make you uneasy we can move to your head, but then I'll be able to see your thoughts."
Rose had no idea how to react, one second she was weak and in a cage, now she looked healthy with some fat on her arms, which she began to mess with "Oh okay, that's considerate of you I guess. Quick question if we do move to my head will you tell anyone what you see?"
"I am literally thousands of years old and can see into the fourth dimensions, your thoughts are so boring compared to that that I guarantee you I won't remember them. Also I am a little old so my memory is a little hazy due to that too."
"Well for now we can stay here." Rose continued to look around curiously.
"Listen, no matter what happens you must not go with Nydia, I can see that you will want to, but you cannot. No matter how much she begs, pleads, or threatens you."
"Yeah, I'm in a cage right now so I don't have much choice."
The Time Creature laughed, and then the dream faded.
She woke up to what she thought was Nydia strangling her, and tried to scream.
...
Trisha hugged her mom for a few seconds before she started to weakly scream and push her away. Trisha pulled away, confused, with tears in her eye.
"Mom, whats wrong?" she asked as she put her hand up to Rose's face.
Rose calmed down and removed the hair from her face and rubbed her eye with one hand. after a few seconds her face lightened up, ans she grabbed Trisha's hand, "Oh my, its you," She started to laugh hysterically until her laughs were silent and whispered in a weak voice, "I missed so much, and I wanted to be with you so badly," she wiped the tears away before wearing a slightly painful smile, "oh there's so much i want to tell you, especially because you've grown so much grown so much."
"She has?!" Steph asked in a mix between genuine surprise and exaggerated sarcasm, which made Trisha and her mother roll their eyes.
"I've seen you made new friends." Rose responded while looking at all of the group
Trisha responded "Yeah, this is Michael, Harris, Sapphire , and then you've already met Steph and her lovely comments." Steph smiled with a onery look, before Trisha continued "What happened to you?"
"Well you see," She started to stand and then crumpled to the ground.
Harris put his hand on Trisha and softly suggested, "Why don't we not ask any questions and let her rest."
"Thank you Harris, you're my favorite." Rose lied down on her back and started to breath heavily as Trisha finally got off her knee and sat down, and the rest followed, and upon resting for a minute Rose said "Oh boy where do I begin? well it all started roughly a year ago, I saw Nydia while in town. Now I knew Nydia had turned bad, but she came and told me that she had changed and she talked about the trauma she had been through. You have to remember she was once good friends with your siblings, and I don't blame her for hating Dawn so much, she was his right hand in command when his mind cracked, so she has seen him at his worst up close. anyways I let her into my home. As it turns out she just wanted to know where we lived, and then told me that if I didn't come along with her that she would kidnap you. She could of taken me right there, but she couldn't hurt me, because even though we hadn't talked in a long time, we still viewed each other as family. I practically raised her in her teenage years, and she felt and looked so much like family, she could be your twin in how similar you two look and act. If I may ask, how did you start on this quest to find me?"
"Well our home was burned down by the TGK and then we found Tim, who led us along."
"Oh I have a lot to tell you about Tim."
"Like what, that's he a sociopath?"
"Well, I don't think it's that. He has tried to help others before, but they just ended up hurting him, so now he wants to clean up a mess that he started a long time ago, and then live out a hermit life. He does really care about you, he went out of his way when you were younger to make sure you were safe, and he did actually do a lot to stop Silver before you were born. Now the world has made him bitter."
"Okay, do you know why all of this is happening though, like what's up with the day of intervention and where is Lucy?"
"I don't know where Lucy is, and i don't know anything about the day of intervention. I once could tell you all about it, but Nydia wiped my memory of certain topics, I can barely even recite my first name, and everything concerning Silver Dawn is fuzzy, and very hazy. I know that there is some key fact that I'm missing about him, but i can't place my tongue on it."
"Do you know what happened to Dad?"
"Your uncle sent a letter to him claiming that they should reconnect and take down the Beast's cult, I didn't see him till a week later when he was found dead in a river, his body was believed to have been dumped a few miles upstream, and your uncle body was most likely dumped there too, but it was never found, theoretically he might even be not dead."
"Wait a minute," Sapphire interrupted, "You have an uncle too, I thought you said that you had no family beyond your immediate family?"
"I didn't know that I had an uncle." Trisha answered as she look to her mom for more answers.
Rose continued, "Your father and your uncle never spoke for some reason, he seemed to be angry that his brother was contacting him, but he went anyways." She then stood up and Trisha helped her up before her mother refused, "I've lost a lot of blood but i can still move around."
"Speaking of moving," Michael said "We better get out of here, I think I hear something."
Trisha began to stand up when a broken tree branch that was particularly sharp whizzed past Trisha, and lodged itself right in the shoulder of Steph who fell to the ground clutching her shoulder and screamed "Seriously, will psychos stop throwing stuff at me!"
