His fist hit my face contacting with my cheek and nose. Blood started to drip, I watched in fascination, not many people were able to get to the point of throwing a punch, they were usually dead by now. I was impressed but he hadn't drawn nearly enough blood to give him the fight he wants. By the time he threw another punch I had already taken a few steps backwards, out of his reach. Before he can take a step forward to try and hit me again, I have my gun out, screwing in the silencer.

"Angel. You were the last person I thought I'd see here, so close to French territory." My eyes roll on the word territory, "You know, you were extremely hard to find. Although I didn't find you, I found the kid. You won't survive this, even if you kill me-." With an annoyed huff I place two bullets in his heart. Skipping over to the body in the back ally of a nightclub frequented by Antonio's old gang, I drop to my knees. I start to hum while I carve into his forehead with one of my throwing knives.

I had made it around the corner of the ally before turning and throwing a smooth, black square at the nightclub door, the bang alerting the guard on the other side that someone was in a restricted area. I stay hidden on around the corner while wait for the commotion to start. It doesn't take long, soon three of Antonio's men and two from the french mafia have surrounded the body and unknowingly to the little black square box. I turn and continue to walk while they freak over their dead friend with the word Angel carved into his head. When I'm far enough away I press the small red button and smile when I hear the unmistakable sound of and explosion.

I didn't die like the rumors are saying. I ran. I ran with the little boy who did stop my world. I ran with the promise of revenge.

That little boy who let loose those terrified screams and who is currently running towards me, shouts to me in excitement. "Athena! Where did you go? I missed you."

My eyes closed, I was happy to see Mason but I knew that if he slipped up again in front of someone it could lead to worse things then having to move again. Forcing a smile on my face I ask him, "What did I tell you to call me when we are here?"

The way his eyes shot to the ground is a punch in the gut. I sat down on the front of my office desk debating on what to say when he starts speaking, "Miss. Vega, I'm supposed to call you Miss. Vega when we are here or with other people. I'm sorry."

"No, no. It's okay. It was a mistake, just be careful, okay? I could get into a lot of trouble," I know he doesn't understand why I won't let him call me by the name I introduced myself to as. "Now, why don't you go play with the other children for a while."

He flashed me a smile as he bounced out of the room.

This time the sigh that left my lips was one of relief, we almost got caught this weekend, I barely got to him in time. We would have to leave soon, they were getting to close. Sub-consciously my hand reached up to the dog tags around my neck.

Letting it fall down to a small bottle that reaches near my mid-section I unclip it from its chain. I sat in the office flipping the small but deadly bottle of liquid in my hands, twisting it and examining it. Of all the poisons I know this is the only one I'm not immune to. I lift the clear, thumb length, bottle up to see liquid that could be easily slipped into any drink and go unnoticed. It was one of my finer designs.

I heard the footsteps outside the office before I saw the girl they belonged to, she was one of the older children here. She had been placed with four families before being sent here, "What can I do for you Alice?"
