Sick

Characters: Ray, Zoey, Aiden, Grayson, Lucas

(Ray's POV)

I groaned and sat up, rubbing my eyes as I slowly woke up. My head still felt fuzzy, but otherwise I felt fine.

I looked around my room and saw Aiden passed out on my beanbag chair while Zoey slept sitting against it. My movement must have woken them up, because soon they were sitting up and wiping sleep out of their eyes.

"Guys? What're you doing in here?" I asked, wincing when my voice came out weird because of my stuffed-up nose.

"You're sick, I stayed over to help because Zoey asked me to." Aiden explained.

"Speaking of which," Zoey said, moving to sit on my bed next to me, "how the heck did you manage to catch a cold? Aren't you like, immune to that or something?"

"Yeah... yeah, I am. I have no idea, I'm feeling better now though." I said. It was true, I was already feeling a lot better than I had the night before.

"I guess you recover from it faster, but aren't completely immune. Anyway, I'm hungry, how about we go get breakfast?" Aiden said. I nodded.

"Yeah, I'm starving. Let's go."

(Lucas's POV)

"Grayson, you're sick. I'm not letting you go to class sick." I said, grabbing his bag out of his hands.

"You're not my mom."

"No, but I'm your boyfriend, so I can tell you that you're staying home today."

"Lucas, I can't miss, what if they go over something--" he sneezed and grabbed a tissue before finishing his sentence. "--something important?"

"You can make it up later."

"I'm going, you can't stop me." Grayson said, but he allowed me to steer him away from the door and over to the couch.

"I think I can. You're going to stay here and rest, and I'll make some soup for you, and we can watch movies all day. You need to rest." I threw his blanket at him, but instead of catching it, he let it cover his face.

"Alright, fine, but you're helping me when I have extra work for science." I heard him mumble through the blanket. I just laughed and sat down next to him, pulling the blanket so that it was spread out on top of both of us.

"Deal."

So yeah I was reading other oneshot books and found a sick chapter and was like YES I HAVE TO DO THAT WITH MY CHILDREN so here we are.

I liked the idea of Ray not being able to get a cold (but that one didn't turn out as good) and then I had to add my blue and red children of course

I think I like the second one better, what about you guys?
