Liv belongs to the amazing NotSoCoolAC who is one of the most amazing people so go support her and read all of her stories thank youuu
Y'all know the drill from the oneshot It's Safe, I Promise. AC and I made two characters, shipped them together, she wrote a oneshot and I'm turning it into my character's POV!
All of the dialogue and events were originally written by NotSoCoolAC , I'm only writing Bee's thoughts and some of the other stuff.
Just a small warning: Bee does curse a bit in their thoughts, I know I don't usually write cursing so just be aware
Hope you like it!
Characters: Bee and Liv
Word count: 1,223Improv was never my favorite part of theater, but it was a required part of the class, so I usually just zoned out until the bell rang and prayed to whatever god was up there that I didn't get chosen.
Today, however, I wasn't very lucky.
"Alright!" Said Mrs. White, clapping her hands way too loudly and effectively dragging me out of my daydreaming. "I need two more volunteers!"
No one volunteered.
She sighed before scanning the room and pointing at one of the girls. "Let's get Liv Cosima up here." The girl didn't move, so Mrs.White waved her up. "C'mon up, Liv!"
Liv reluctantly walked up to the front of the classroom where the stage was, and I watched her. She was definitely pretty, with shoulder-length golden hair tucked under a beanie and managed to make a comfortable sweater and jeans look unbelievably cute.
In short, the kind of girl who I would end up stumbling over my words for. God, why was I so useless when it came to pretty girls?
"Let's give a round for Liv!" Mrs. White said, prompting a small amount of clapping from the class. "Alright, so... you'll be person A, which means you'll start the improv scene. Can I get..." she looked back out at the class, and I froze when we made eye contact, but it was too late. "Bee! Let's get Bee Malikova up here!"
Dammit.
I made my way up to the stage, nerves settling in my stomach. Of all the times to be chosen, why now? At least if it was one of the boys up there with me, I'd be able to be sarcastic and sassy and not stuttering like a huge idiot. When I got to the front, though, I noticed that Liv looked even more nervous than I was. I smiled at her, but only got an awkward nod in return. She was definitely more anxious about this than I had originally thought.
Mrs. White turned towards us. "Okay, let's see... your word is... romance!"
Wait, what the hell?
The rest of the class giggled, but I just stood there for a few seconds, stunned. The one area where I have literally no expertise in, and I have to do it with a really pretty girl who I wouldn't even be able to talk to normally? I glanced at Liv, but she looked just as shocked as I was, her blue eyes wide.
I felt even more sorry for her. She had to start the scene.
Mrs. White sat down in the front row of seats, setting her pen and paper down in her lap. "And... action!"
I looked at Liv, who seemed to be struggling with the first sentence. "Uhm... you, uh... come here often?"
The class laughed, and I waited for it to die down before continuing.
