He's the light.
He shines bright with all his might.
He's a friend.
He can mend hearts.
He's right and never wrong.
He helps and cares,
He's strong and dares
He is always there
He is our rock and redeemer.
For we are his people, and he is our salvation.
He is light and in him there is no darkness.
He is our salvation. We are his creation.
He is God!!!
This was the original poem I had written for that youth retreat back in 1986. It is still true today. He is light!
