Sunday Morning :
Hassani : I woke up at 7 , so I could get ready for church. It doesn't start until 10 , but our father always wants us there on time to greet the deacons and elders . I took a shower , because last night I was sweating really bad . It was a hotttttt . After I took my shower , I slicked my hair into a low bun . I did my makeup and put lotion on my body . Then put my undergarments on and my outfit . Normally , it takes me longer to get dressed and everything but for some odd reason it didn't . I wore a cream colored long sleeve dress that stopped at my knees , a long green cardigan , and beige thigh high boots that a heel on them . I checked to make sure I looked appropriate .
Naomi : I really didn't want to go to church today ... only cause I knew Justin was going to be there . He didn't have much of a choice but still . Plus , the whole church knew about our relationship so he felt as if he had to sit with me and my family up front . I didn't know what to wear , it took me forever . I had to make sure it was presentable because we have a dinner/meeting after church with this other pastor , his wife , and their son .
Justin : I woke up early just so I could go to church . I've been trying to fix me and Naomi but I don't know how . I did slip up the other night . I want to tell her but I don't know how cause I know that's going to be the end of us . I still love her a lot . She's just not into sex and sometimes I need pleasure , in which she doesn't feel comfortable doing .
Janelle : Naomi invited me , Brandon , and Amarie to church . I woke up and did my hygiene, etc . I didn't want to dress up plus you could dress casual . So , I just put on a black shirt , black jeans , gold sandals and a blue jean jacket . I wore my hair curly . But we couldn't sit with her up front , so when we got there we sat on the second row . It was me , Amarie , and Brandon . All four of us had gotten pretty close since yesterday .
Ace : My mom woke me up kinda early so I could get dressed and everything . Because she knew I would've been late for church and probably would've ended up not going . I woke up , brushed my teeth and washed my face . I put lotion on and did my stuff for my waves . I chose a blue suit with a white shirt and my brown church shoes . Then , I put in my diamond earrings . After , I was finished getting dressed I went downstairs to see my parents about to walk out so I followed and got in the car . I made sure I had my phone too . My mom said we had a meeting or dinner with the head family from the church . I really don't want to go because I had something to do after church .
Church went by and the word was really good . Of course Justin sat with Naomi and her family up front while her dad preached . Amarie , Brandon and Janelle told Naomi they were each going home and they'd text each other later . Naomi said that was fine because she had church business today . They knew what exactly she meant but they understood . Justin had texted Naomi to meet him at his car so she went to his car to see what he wanted while her parents were talking with the pastor and his wife . Her sister was with Tyler taking pictures in the garden at the church . Naomi went to Justin's car and he had roses , a teddy bear , and a black case . She took all the gifts and Justin got down on one knee . She was surprised .
Justin : Naomi . Ever since I've met you , you've made me happier . I know we've been through some things but regardless you've stayed by my side . I know I haven't been as such as a great boyfriend I should've been but I promise , I'm going to be better at it . This is a promise ring and between us it for us - mainly me to do right by each other .
He put the ring on her finger and she fanned her eyes from crying because she didn't want to mess up her makeup . The two kissed and she hugged him tightly. He did the same . Their hug was broken because some guy called her name . She didn't realize who it was until she turned around . It was him . Him from the mall , the boy from the park . She choked on her saliva . She didn't think she'd see him again . After her flashback , she bounced back and told Justin she had to go . Ace waited on her and grabbed her hand so she come down the short steps .
A : Hey Naomi , nice to see you again .
N : Ace , what are you doing here ? Are you stalking me now ?
( they talked as they walked down the hallway back into the church where their parents were and Hassani with Tyler standing beside her . )
A : My parents are having a dinner meeting with your family and they wanted us to meet .
N : too late for that .
A : yeah I met you the other morning .
N : you dress up nice , never would I have thought you were a preacher's son .
A : Surprising right , I know .
( they were now where each of their parents were . He opened the door for her and she walked in .
ND : Where's that from ?
N : oh Justin bought this for me .
ND : Ohhh , well hunny this is Mr. & Mrs. Jackson and this is their son Ace .
N : Nice to meet you and I kind of already know Ace .
NM : how do you two know each other ?
N : Umm , yesterday morning actually at the greenway down the road from the house .
NM : well kids , we have to discuss upcoming plans for our churches and you all don't have to be here .
AM ( ace mom ) : Kwoke soti ak nouvo zanmi ou yo <<<< " go hangout with your new friends " [ motions toward Naomi , Hassani and Tyler ]
A : wi ma'am << yes ma'am
N : Mom & Dad , I'm going somewhere with my friends .
NM : Oo , oo , take Ace with you let him meet some of your friends or something .
N : okay Ace , well you can ride with me .
A : Okay
