¤CHAPTER SIX¤
To say I was completely and utterly stunned would be an understatement. Things like this weren't normal. Things like monsters were fiction.
So why in all of the 7 seven hells was I witnessing exactly that? Why is that a few yards in front of me was something I wouldn't have ever dreamt of, is happening before my very eyes?
Not far away stood Khadir in all of his inhumane glory looking down at the monster he had just decapitated. The monsters headless body twitched before bursting into ash and smoke that rose into the air. All I could do right now was sit here and gape at the sight before me.
This was all too much.
As I felt a building pressure in my head the eyes of a certain someone looked my way. Looking up at his face made my heart skip a beat. Even though he seemed to no longer be human and not to mention had just killed someone or rather something, he looked terrifyingly beautiful.
His once black hair was now stark white and went down the length of his back down to his waist. His eyes were no longer black or green, they blazed a beautiful golden and had rings of fire encircling them.
Something about them felt so familiar but I couldn't place where I've seen them. That same building pressure I felt was getting worse by the minute. I clutched the side of my head in pain trying to relieve it.
Gravel crunching beneath shoes reminded alerted me of his approach. I felt blood rushing to my ears and my vision darkening. I could no longer hear and could barely see through my hazy vision. I curled up on the floor clutching my head between my hands and knees. The pain was excruciating.
The last thing I remember seeing was a pair of black boots entering my vision before I blacked out.

My limbs felt extremely stiff. Was I dead? No, I wouldn't be talking to my concious if I was. Right?
Why do my eyes and body feel so heavy? I can't move a thing.
My eyelids felt as if they've been taped shut. I'm slowly though, beginning to get some feeling in the tips of my fingers.
I felt a soft fabric under the pads of my finger tips. What is this? The last thing I could clearly remember is being on the concrete floor. Somewhere off to my left I heard the sound of a door being closed. Panick was slowly beginning to naw away at me.
The sound of quiet and heavy set footsteps were approaching my direction. Soon they came to a halt at my side. I knew whoever it was was facing me and they weren't farther away anymore.
To my right I felt the surface of whatever I was laying on slightly dip under a new added weight.
I must be laying on a bed, I thought to myself. My heart rate began being more frantic. Now I was trying to force my entire body to move, but to no avail the only thing I could move were my pinkie and index finger.
I could feel whoever it was next to me reaching out towards me and this time my jaw became unhinged for a strangled muffled noise to out of my mouth. But this didn't halt their actions as they reached out and cupped the sides of my face with their seemingly large and hot hands.
I felt a comforting and inviting warmth engulf my body. White light exploded through my vision and my eyes came fluttering open. My eyes slowly adjusted to my surroundings. I was in a dark room and above me was Khadir looking down at me with a blank expression. His eyes were still that beautiful amber color that had a flame like color surrounding his iris. Looking at him brought back memories of the events prior.
