The last time I saw you, you promised to call.
You kissed my lips and said "It won't be long."
I let your hand go and watched you walk away,
Then I waited oh I waited.
You don't get to come back, just walk in.
You're not allowed to just play it off,
That's not enough for me. It's not enough.
Last time we talked it was 2am.
You broke your promise now and it was broken then.
You don't get to walk back in to my life,
It's not okay for you to just pretend like it never happened.
The last time I saw you, was one year ago today.
Had you asked me,I would've gone away,
With you.
You don't get to say you love me,
After a year of not calling,
After a year of not talking.
You don't get to pretend like you didn't do that.
You don't get to go back,
To one year ago today.
