I remember it like it was yesterday.
We were younger then, not wise.
Wanting the world, but we didn't know better. We didn't know.It was only 5 years ago, wasted time.
You thought we had it all figured out.
I didn't mean to leave you alone.I was scared, but you protected me.
You were afraid, but I didn't know
I was younger, I was a fool.I promised, I swore.
You forgave me.
I held you tightly, I was alone once more.I laid there, with you in my arms.
Afraid to let go.
Fearful, that it would be the last time.
How was I too know?I still remember it like it was yesterday.
