I sat up in bed with a start. In my panic I had jostled the arm Levi had had tightly wound around me, and his warm body shifted as he groaned.

I jumped again as another loud crash rang out from downstairs. This time the large man laying next to me heard it too and sat up quickly.

"Levi!" I hissed in fear, thinking the worst of what could have made the noise from downstairs.

"I know, I heard it." He spoke in a hushed whisper and swung his legs across the bed. I scrambled off the bed after him and followed his tense figure to the door of our massive bedroom.

"No." He turned on me, looking angry. "Go hide in the closet. Don't make a sound, and don't come out unless I come to get you."

"Levi, no!" I pleaded with him grabbing his bicep with both of my hands.

"It's probably just Jasper and Amber fucking or something." He gave me a whisper chuckle that was not at all believable. "I need to you hide, just in case."

I didn't want him going alone, and I didn't want to be alone. The fear of not knowing if he was okay would eat me alive.

"Fine." I finally after a well fought stare-down. "Promise me you'll come back as soon as you find out it's nothing."

"I promise, baby." He smiles a real smile this time.  "Now go hide. I'll be right back."

He silently pulling the door open, and shut it behind him just as quietly. As soon as he left I began to pace around the room. He had told me to hide in the closet, but I wouldn't be able to hear if there was any commotion from inside the small room.

I needed to know he was okay.

I paced back and forth for what felt like forever, before finally taking a seat on the side of the bed, letting my legs bounce up and down anxiously.

There was silence coming from downstairs, and I strained my ears to hear anything I could.

There was a bad feeling in my stomach, something didn't feel right about this situation and the need to be near Levi and make sure that he was okay grew and grew.

I got up from the bed and walked toward the door, hesitating right at the knob. Levi would be so angry if he knew I had left the room, even if everything was fine. I debated with myself whether it would be worth it to make him upset just to make sure if he was okay.

"Didn't your boyfriend tell you not to leave?" A voice spoke from the balcony door that we had left wide open last night to let to ocean breeze wash into the room.

My body froze in fear. I didn't recognize the voice in any way, but from the deepness in his tone and the large shadow the man cast across the floor I could tell he was not to be messed with. I slowly turned my body to face the balcony window where a very large man stood leaning against the door with his arms folded against his large chest.

"For fugitives, you kids really aren't that careful." He chuckled lowly, pushing off the door frame to take a step toward me.

I instantly took a step back, my eyes widening.

"LEVI!" The scream flew out of my mouth before I could stop myself and I flung the door open as the man rushed forward. Before I could take the step out of the room he can wrapped a large hand around my upper arm in a vice grip and yanked me back making my head whip to the side.

"Let's go see him together!" The man dragged me out into the hallway as I caught viciously against him. I was done letting this happen to me. I don't want to be a victim anymore.

"Willow!" A shout came from downstairs, but I heard no movement of Levi moving up the stairs.

The big man pulled me down the stairs quickly, making me trip and tumble down them at his speed. I kept fighting him as we entered the large living room and let out a shout as he pulled me around to throw me on the hardwood floor in front of him.

"Told you she'd be here, Boss." The man who had now released me spoke as I scrambled off the floor.

There were four huge men standing in front of me, two of them holding large guns. My breath hitched as I followed the scope of the gun to where three people sat on the couch.

Levi's eyes assessed me frantically and he outstretched an arm for me to come to him. I began to dash forward, knowing being in his protective arms would ease my fear.

"I don't think so, Blondie." The man behind me chuckled and yanked me back by my hair, making me cry out in pain.

Levi stood up from the couch and an inhuman like growl left his throat.

"Levi, your father would like you to return home." One of the four men across the room spoke, "He knew you might need some incentive to come willingly. So," The man raised his gun to point right at my head, "Here's your incentive."

Levi froze. His entire body became rigid and he turned his head to look right into my eyes. I could see pain, anger, and for the first time since I've know him... fear.

"We had a feeling this would be the push you needed. Return with us, or the girl dies. Slowly and painfully." A smirk graced the mans face, and he cocked his gun, making me flinch.

"Ok." Levi didn't even hesitate. My heart began racing faster, if that was even possible. How could he just agree? We had worked so hard to get away from our dangerous parents. He would throw away his life and return to his father... for me? All I knew is that I would gladly die to let Levi have a chance at a new life. "Just don't hurt her."

"No!" I choked out, tears blurring my vision as they streamed down my face endlessly. The man behind me released my hair, making my head throb. "Isn't that sweet. You must really be good in bed, Blondie."

"Then it's settled!" Another one of the scary men clapped his hands together. "Let's head back to your Daddy, kid."

The beautiful boy was still staring into my eyes. I could tell he was trying to say something. Sadness graced his sting features, making my heart clench. With one last longing look, he turned away from me and gave in to the men who were ushering him out the door with the tip of their guns.

"Oh, and-" The man who had has his gun pointed at my head paused for a moment, "Bring the girl."
