My whole body is shaking, and I'm starting to find it hard to breath from the fear that's coursing through me.
Scenes from the hotel in Chicago flash through my mind and I struggle against the person restraining me as hard as I can.
Suddenly the person let's go and I scramble away across the floor. Turning around with tears in my eyes, I look up to see a pissed looking Levi.
"God Damn it, Willow!" He practically yells, as I sit there in shock, "I could have been anyone! You have to be more careful!"
"Levi you -" I start but stop, unable to find the right words.
"I don't want you getting hurt!" He stalks toward me, he's shirtless, and has sweat still dripping from his taught muscles, "You've almost died multiple times on my watch, and things like this are the reason why."
He reaches me and grabs me by the arm, hoisting me off the ground.
"I thought you were at the gym?" I manage to ask.
"I was." He says, "But I was too worried about leaving you alone."
He motions me to sit on the bed, and tells me to change into sleeping clothes, heading into the bathroom to shower.
I change into soft shorts and a tank top, feeling stupid. I've managed to finally pissed Levi off with my inability to think rationally.
I let out a heavy sigh and lay down on the bed closest to the window of the room and Levi soon exits the bathroom, wearing only athletic shorts.
I turn my body away from him, and pull the covers over me.
"I'm sorry, Baby." His voice is close to me now, "I didn't mean to scare you. Well, I did. But I'm still sorry."
"You know what happened last time." I spit at him. Trying to block out the memories of the man who had pulled me into the room in Chicago.
"I wasn't thinking. I was frustrated, and that's not an excuse." He sits down on my bed, making it dip. "Please, forgive me."
I turn to look at him, still upset but not feeling like fighting with him, "Fine, I forgive you."
He breaks into a wolffish grin that I soon return, "Good."
"Come to bed." Before I have a chance to answer, he scoops me up and moves me to the other bed, climbing in after me. I giggle, and let him tuck me in and kiss me of the forehead.
"Goodnight, Baby."
"Goodnight, Levi."
We lay next to each other for a while, and I'm still not tired. I try everything, but just can't sleep. I turn to face Levi, finding him laying on his back, eyes open and facing the ceiling.
"Levi." I whisper, making sure he's awake.
"Willow." He whispers back, his voice hoarse.
"I can't sleep."
"Me neither."
We lay in silence again before I scoot closer to him on the bed. Resting my head right next to his.
"Do you think we'll make it? To Cuba I mean." I ask.
"I think we have a pretty good chance." He sighs, "if you manage to stay alive that long."
I scowl at him. "What you did earlier wasn't cool. You scared the hell out of me."
"I know." He sighs again, turning to face me, "If I could I would go back and have a redo in Chicago, and you getting shot on the way there. I'd save you if I could."
"Don't beat your self up." I smile, finding his hand and linking it with my own, "If I wasn't so prone to disaster we never would have met."
"That's very true." He chuckles, "I'm glad we met.""Me too."
He rolls his body over mine, arms on either side of my head to stop himself from crushing me.
Without warning he swoops down and kisses me. I immediately kiss him back, wrapping my arms around his neck, tangling my fingers in his hair.
He moans into my mouth as I tug at the strands, and deepens the kiss. His hands travel my body and settle on my hips, digging his fingers into my skin, but not in a painful way. We kiss for what seems like forever until I break it, out of breath.
"We shouldn't-" I pant.
"I'm sorry, you're right, we can't-" Our lips meet again urgently, and suddenly my shirt is on the floor.
The feeling of our warm skin against each other is addicting, and I pull him as close as possible. His hands leave fiery trails along my torso.
Suddenly he slows down the kiss, and pulls away, grinning at me, "I've been waiting to do that since I met you."
I smiled up at him, my face flushed and breathing heavy, "We should sleep." I tell him.
He flops down on top of me, his weight knocking the air out of my lungs.
"Levi." I gasp out, trying to push him off.
He chuckles deeply and rolls off of me, pulling me to him immediately.
"You're mine, Willow Reynolds."
