"I'll kill you for your stubbornness, stupid!" He pulled my hair as I could feel the pain on my head.

"P-please, I-I'm begging for your mercy."

"Hahahaha!!!" He laughed cruelly.

"What's that? I don't know mercy," he said as soon as he grab the knife, raising it up, getting ready to stab me.

Swear to god, I'm shivering pleading for a help. But I know, there's no chance for me to be saved by someone. Bitterly, I close my eyes tightly, waiting for the painfulness.

Stab!

I open my eyes as I felt a splash of blood on my face.

"Mom!!!!"

She's laying on the floor miserably while her hands is grabbing the knife on her stomach as soon as I open my eyes. Quickly, I run myself to her, hoping to save her live as my step-father is backing away.

"D-Don't leave m-me. I'm n-not losing you r-right?" I couldn't stop myself from sobbing while my tears are flowing rushingly .

She raise her hand, sweeping away my tears, " I won't be here with you anymore to keep you safe. Run for your lives."

As my step-father heard it, his expressions change to scared. He starts taking his steps, walking nearer.

I brave myself as I keep on starring mom's pure face.

"Run now! Find a s-safe place f-for you. Search f-for your da-"

Slap!

Suddenly a hard slap arrived on my cheeks. He is looking at me with a full of evil meanings.

As he was about to grab my hair, I take a wood and hit his head as a protection.
He groaned in pain, giving me a chance to escape.

Hopefully, I won't see him again.
