5| Fun Fair

"Arie, come and eat your breakfast," As I went to the kitchen, grandma greeted me.

"You must eat a lot as you'll be going out later."

I stop from munching, "Going out?"

She nodded, "I've told your friend to bring you to somewhere so that you could freshen your mind."

"Which friend? Haru?" I sip the milk that has been served.

"No. It's the guy last day."

"Jungkook?"

"I guess so. Well it's the time for you to get rid of your phobia," She cupped my face as she boring my face.

"But-"

She cut my my words, "Not all men are the same. There are bad one but also a good one and I believe he is the good one. Stop finding excuse and get ready now."

I sighed as I take my steps to my room, getting myself ready.

"What should I wear?" I crossed my arm as I look into my wardrobe.

'Wait, why do I even care?'

"Then I'll stick to my usual style. Simple."

I wear an oversized black t-shirt and a short as it does not require any effort. Grandma gave me some money as she ask me to wait outside for Jungkook.

Why do I even need to wait?

After a while wasting my golden time outside, Jungkook finally arrive, with his bicycle.

"I thought you wouldn't agree to went out," he parked his bicycle right in-front of me. I step a back, leaving some space.

"Everything that could make my grandma happy, I'll do."

He giggled, "Let's go!"

I look at him up and down, ignoring his order, "With this bicycle?"

He nodded.

My brows were furrowed, "Did you lost your sense? You know that I can't even be five metre closer to man and it's even you."

Even if he looks nice with those innocent features, I need to be cautious as they could be acting or even using their handsome face to do something bad.

"Trust me. I'll promise that I won't harm you, okay?"

I nodded as I slowly take my seat behind him. Still being cautious, I didn't grab his waist. I rather fall down than touching man.

"Are you sure to stay in that position? It'll be dangerous."

"Huh. Are you going or not?"

He chuckled, "Alright, suit yourself." He steps on the pedal as the bicycle starts moving taking us to our way.

"We're here!" He said while putting a wide smile on his face.

I took a moment to think about this nonsense things. Why do I even followed him to this weird place at the first place?

"Are you sure you didn't lose your small mind?" I couldn't stop staring him with an annoyance.

He nodded aggressively, letting out a little laugh, "Do I seems like I've lost my mind?"

"Well, bringing me to the fun fair seems like you have lost your mind from a brain surgery." Seriously, I couldn't bear myself from furrowing my eyebrows as I think that this things is kinda ridiculous and wasting times.

Realising my unsatisfied face, he grab my wrist and drag me along him, "Follow me." Swear to god, I was startled a lot because of his sudden action and as for that I almost lose my breath.

"D-don't touch m-me!"

He chuckled a bit, "Oopss. Sorry, I've forgotten about that."

I gave him a stare while trying to catch my breath back.

It has been three hours since we arrived at the fun fair. The entire day was so tiring as Jungkook couldn't stop himself from trying every single games at the fun fair. I could say that we don't know what to do anymore. But beside that, I realised that fun fair is not that boring as I imagine. I discover that along side having charming identity, Jungkook also own this one crazy side.

"Ice cream?" I was sitting calmly at the bench besides the fun fair when he suddenly approach me with a cone of vanilla ice cream.

My eyes focused on the ice cream. It's vanilla. And, "I don't like this flavour at all." Being honest is the best, so why not?

"Eating vanilla won't kill you anyway. Stop being picky and after all you might regret it later." He said while his hand keep on shoving the ice cream in front of my faces.

What I know is that I won't give up on him. "Still, I prefer chocolate flavour than vanilla. Fight me."

He sighed hard. The ice cream that he was eating just now, he hand it to me, "It's chocolate. You'll eat this and I'll take vanilla."

"I won't take it. It is not fair. You've bite that ice cream and now you're giving me that while you will be eating a new ice cream? That was so ridiculous of you." I hugged my arms, turning my face away from him. I was quite pissed off as I sense that my face was red. I thought that he will give up on me but he was just same as me, being hard headed.

"Then suit yourself. I'll be enjoying two ice creams."

It's 9 p.m as I went home. Grandma was still awake while making some late night snacks at the kitchen. As she noticed me, she approach me. "Are you having some fun, my dear?"

"Maybe yes, maybe not." I sighed. Grandmas' smile was still on her face as she caressed my cheeks softly. "Wanna tell me about it?"

"I didn't get my ice cream. Jungkook ate both of them and now I'm craving for it."

Hearing that with a lot of focus, grandma burst out from laughter, "I thought it was really serious but it was actually because my dear couldn't have her ice-cream. So pity."

"Grandmaaa!!! Seriously?!"

She chuckled, "I was joking. Before going to bed, have some egg toast at the kitchen. I've prepared that specially for you."

I nodded as a smile appeared on my face.

Pyjamas were on and everything is done. I lay myself into my bed, trying to make myself comfortable from a long and tiring day. I try to close my eyes, getting myself ready to sleep as my mind was filled with today's event. From riding a bicycle together with Jungkook to the fun fair until at the moment where we were fighting. It was a small thing. Just an ice cream. I let out a small giggle as I found that it was too childish.

Today's feelings, I couldn't describe it well. It was confusing as I never had this feeling for a long time. I don't know whether it was because of too much happiness or what. But what I know is, I feel more comfortable with Jungkook compared to other guys. For me, he was....

A good guy.
