So in the last tip I talked a little about setting reminders on priorities and this tip is all about that.
One of the best ways to make your studying better is to prioritize your tasks in order of importance or which ones might be due first thing when you get into class.
If you're having a test on Monday and an assignment due on Wednesday, study for the test first, and then work on the assignment as soon as you get home after the test. Don't try to do everything at the same time, you're only putting stress on your mind and all that will do is make you feel like giving up on studying!
So get those reminder apps or task organizers to aid your studies. Look through them during the day to remind you what you have to do after or during school and get them done. If the tasks are small then try multitasking and complete them early to make time for bigger tasks. Try to avoid multitasking if the tasks are big or time consuming.
And this is an important one, try as much as you can not to procrastinate. Before you get home repeat the thought that the first thing you are going to do is to go shower, have dinner early, and then get your homework done. If you start thinking about having a couple of hours to just relax those couple of hours are prone to become 4 hours and by then you won't have the mindset or the energy to do anything and you'll feel like doing it all tomorrow morning instead. Try to avoid this as much as you can!
