"Ready?" Noah and Holden asked.

"I need to stop somewhere first, but you guys go ahead, I'll find you" I said, they nodded and jumped out the window. I ran back into my room and made sure everything was in place. The note and things I want Mia to have. I jumped out the window onto the branch next to my window and ran, never looking back.

I headed north while Noah and Holden went west. I heard many animals of the night move out of the way, even though I'm still a person jumping from branch to branch. As if they knew I was coming Sapphire opened the front door for me.

"Take off your shoes, and he's waiting in his office " she said, I nodded an went down stairs to alpha Ryan's office. Sapphire is his mate and is like a mother to this pack. She keeps us all sane while our men are out at meetings. Some meetings, most, end badly and wolves get injured, only four have actually died. They treat me like I'm there child and I'm okay with it because Sapphire can't have children. Its sad because she's a pre-k teacher and cry herself to sleep, feeling useless to Ryan. I knocked on the office door.

"Come in" he said, I walked and saw him sitting on the window seal with his pipe in hand. Ryan was rather old for his age if you ask me, I mean, he's only fifty, He made the announcement last month that one of us will be the alpha because he could his'alpha blood' leaving his body slowly.

"Hey Ryan" I said and bowed my head, he frowned and I rolled my eyes.

"You don't have to bow to me"

"I choose to, out of respect" I said, he sighed and took a puff of his pipe.

"So what brings you Kate" he asked.

"I wanted to let you know the Noah, Holden and I are leaving the pack" he widened his eyes.

"Are you sure about this?"

"I'm very sure, you know why I'm leaving" he pause and took another blow.

"Kathrine, has anything, I don't know, unusual been happening to you?" he asked and looked me in the eyes, I froze.

"Well, kind of, yes?" I said or asked.

"Like what, explain"

"Well, my body's reflexes are on high all the time, that's about it"

"Hm, I see, be back with in a months time" he said, I sighed and nodded my head yes.

"Okay" I hugged him, he smiled and hugged me too "Sometimes I wish you were my dad" I whispered.

"And I wish you were my child as well, so does Sapphire" he said and kissed my forehead then his purple eyes went sky blue. I waited for his vision to end, he can see the future at random moments. He blinked a couple times and gave me a small smile.

"What?" I asked, he pursed his lips.

"If you leave, what will Tristan do?" shit, I had totally forgot about Tristan!

"I guess he'll forget about me and when I come back, he'll hate me too" I shrugged, but on the inside my wolf and heart was going crazy with hurt. I can tell Ryan heard my heart beat as he lifted my chin.

"Go, have your freedom, he won't forget about you, he can'" he said, I nodded and with another hug I was walking out the front door. I was about to cross the street when I heard someone call me.

"Kate!" Tristan yelled, my eyes widened as I turned around and saw Ryan looking threw his window. He smiled and closed his shades. Tristan was wearing basketball shorts with and Ipod in his pocket, he was sweaty and his hair stuck to his face. I for got he ran around the pack perimeters at night, damn.

"Hey Tristan" I smiled, but it didn't reach my eyes. He smiled at me, but frowned when he saw my bags.

"Where you going?" he nodded towards my bags, sadness in his eyes.

"Um, I'm going camping with Noah" I lied, I saw him narrow his eyes at my lie.

"Why are you lying?"

"I'm not lying" I said strongly, apparently not strong enough because he walked up in front me in till me chest was against his.

"Where are you going?" he whispered softly, I shivered as his blueberry breath hit my neck, he must have eaten a muffin.

"I'm leavings with Holden and Noah" I confessed, his heart beat jumped into hyper drive.

"I'm coming with you"

"No, its fine, stay here and live your life. I know how you stay away from the kids because the beat me, not you have a chance to make friends."

"I don't want to to leave me" his voice broke, I bowed my head as some tears fell. I started to walk away but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me into his chiseled chest. I molded into his body as he placed his lips on my. His lips were soft like marshmallows and sweet like chocolate, My hands went into his hair an grasped for dead life as I fell deeper and deeper into the kiss. He licked my bottom lip and I oped my mouth only to have him bit and tug on my bottom lips, I moaned as the feeling of fire as ice went threw me tummy.

 His hands roamed all over my body as his hot touch sent shivers threw my body, when he rapped his arms around my waist I rapped my legs around his waist. This time I licked his lip and he groaned and he opened his mouth. Our tongues explores each others mouths, he did eat a muffin! He pulled away and started to suck on my neck and I gave out a deep and husky moan when he reached the crook in my neck.

I threw my head back as he licked and sucked his way back to my lips. With me still rapped around his waist he stumbled to a near by bench and sat down with me straddling his. I tugged on his neck and he moaned, I started to kiss all around his neck but when I reached behind his ear he groaned really deep and I felt something poke my privet. I quickly jumped off his lap as most off the foggy daze came out of my head,

"Oh my god!" I said and picked up my bags again. He go up and all traces of his wood was gone, but you could tell we just made out, His lips were looked puffy and his pupils were dilated. I started to cry again as I reach the street, looking both ways I ran like hell before a car hit me, Tristan Followed.

"Kate, wait, I don't want you to leave" he said, his voice cracking bad, I risked a glance behind me to see his eyes red with tears, it broke my heart.

"I have to leave" I sobbed, he grabbed my arm and turned me around.

"Please, you can't leave mem I don't know Kate but I think I loved you more than a brother for years now" he sobbed, I cried harder.

"No you don't your just saying that. You never really liked me, let alone love. No one love me, no one cares, just let me leave!" I yelled and it started to rain, he dropped down to his knee's, holding my hand tight.

"Please don't leave me, you have to believe me, don't leave me alone, not again" he sobbed as his tears blended into the rain. I knew he was talking about when his mate died from the fire saving her brother, it made me cry more to know he thinks I'm going to die too.

"Please let me leave" I whispered, hurt and desperation in my voice. He did a shaky sob before slowly releasing my hand, I ran like hell crying and blocked out all sound, but not before Tristan's last words to me.

"I'll never forget you Kathrine Marie Anderson"
