Am I mistaken to seek love?
Not any, but the one I deserve.
It comes and goes, and keeps gone.
Should I believe in one?
One God, one love, one life!
But which one? And where to find?
I can't believe and I can't wait;
Wasting it all in hate.
Great! Now I can let go.
But then when I find you,
Or maybe if I find You
I will have changed. 'll have been drained.
So when I'm tired of looking;
When you have found me,
Or if you're even there,
Bear a little with my misanthrope,
And remind me, kindly, of who I used to be.
