Jazmine floated over to me, her walk was so elegant, she was literally floating with the bottom of her dress swaying beside her legs like a peaceful waterfall; she put me in this trance as she walked I couldn't stop staring and letting my eyes follow her as she lifted her dress up slightly to take a seat on the couch and patted the space beside her and I sat down obediently and she looked me up and down.

"Everything about you is so pure, I'm surprised Lust didn't scruff you up before bringing you back here," she smiled with a small high laugh sounding at the back of her throat

"Well, he did pin me against a wall," Saying this made me blush and my voice went a little quieter, "So maybe the back of me is a little dirty?"

She let out a bubbly joyous laugh and put a hand on my back and gently pushed me forward so she could look at the back of my white suit jacket and she brushed her hand softly down my back which made me feel so much comfier.

"Well making people dirty and horny is his forte, and he seems to have accomplished both of those from the shy blush on your face there," she giggled softly and made me blush more "It's only a little orange dust from some bricks or something,"

"I'm not gay, just by the way," I clarified, "I still don't really understand that.... thing just yet,"

I could tell she wasn't pleased with this answer since the corners of her mouth sunk a little and she raised one of her perfectly shaped eyebrows. I tried to think of a way to phrase my correction,

"I-I'm not saying it's wrong m-miss just that I don't understand it, but I am willing to learn," I stuttered and finished my unstable sentence with a gulp

That look was a look of disappointment and I never wanted to see that from her, it physically hurt me to see her look at me like that.

"We can hear your thoughts so please let us see that you're attempting to think before you say anything even if it feels foreign for a while since this is going against your usual instincts," she said calmingly and supportively

I nodded not wanting to say something else stupid

"So darling, speaking of going against your usual instincts, what happened upstairs in those clouds?" she asked

I cleared my throat and took a deep breath

"I got drunk at one of the guardian angel's dinners parties" I whispered feeling ashamed "I already had three wines with dinner but then different Guardians kept offering me more drinks not realising I've already drunk and I accepted them because I felt like I had too," I blurted out I heard a small squeak beside me and I looked up to see Jasmine's lips pressed hard together trying to hold back a burst of laughter and then she covered her lips with her mouth and took a deep breath

"I'm sorry but by the sounds of it you were kicked out after getting tipsy on one bottle of... wine," She said pausing to stop a giggle pushing out of her lips

"Yes we'll drinking is kind of a big issue up there but I thought so was refusing food and drink prepared for you so I must have been wrong on my judgement there," I sighed rubbing the back of my neck

"God, you're gonna enjoy your freedom down here you could just get absolutely hammered down here nightly with the only consequences being blackout and vomit," She giggled softly and I heard a smaller chuckle from another one of the couches where I noticed the throw blanket on there had a lump under it and it moved

"Oh! I thought it was just you and me in here," I asked Jaz feeling embarrassed and the lump moved from under the blanket

Emerged from the blanket was a skinny looking guy, bagged eyes, jet black hair contrasting well against his pale sickly skin, he was shirtless but had now wrapped the throw around his loosely as he rubbed one of his eyes, yawning and stretching.

"Yo," He said lazily and slouched back in the couch he was on all his movements were slow and just made me sleepy looking at him

"Teddy, sit up and introduce yourself we have a guest," She hissed at him slightly and he shook his head slightly

"Why do I need to bother when someone will just do it for me," He smirked smugly I giggled at his cool lazy trick for not having to introduce himself

"Oh, you cheeky!" She shook her head with a smile also amused at his sly trick and threw a pillow at him which he didn't even attempt to block and instead just let it hit his face and fall into his lap, then, he hugged it close to his chest  and over the bottom half of his face letting his eyes droop halfway closed

"I'm Desmond Harp by the way," I told him

"cool, I already forgot," He chuckled sleepily from behind the pillow

"You can call me Dez then, to make your life easier," I giggled and he put a thumbs up and closed his eyes hugging the pillow and relaxing

"You'll find his lifeless body on every seating and bed in this place or shuffling to the bathroom just to shuffle back to bed," She smiled and Ted nodded in agreement

"If I see a dead body in this house, It's him, got it," I told myself

"Or a girl Austin has fucked senseless they seem to show up from time to time," Teddy yawned and Jazmine tutted

"Yes, well less talk of the sex demon's playthings and more about you Desmond," She rolled her eyes at the first part then smiled at me

"There isn't much to tell, I'm literally a blank sheet of paper waiting for a new story," I shrugged

"Let me be the co-author to this story of yours then," she smiled and I nodded happily

"I probably won't write anything however I will take credit for signing my name at the bottom of the page," Teddy chuckled and lay back on his side

"I think all of us will be impressed if you drew a dot on this page frankly," She replied

I already knew from the amount of smiling I've done since being here, I'm going to enjoy this new beginning
