hurts like hell

Marinette looked into her large mirror admiring her body, or what was left of her frail and sickly pale frame. She didn't hate herself, nor hate her personality, she hated the eternal silence that bugged her, the eternal suffering of her thoughts, her indifference to suffering.

We think that pain is the worst feeling.. It isn't, how could anything be worse than this eternal silence inside of her. The one that roars through the all but silent voices of the villain inside of her, even at night when all she wants to do is lay in bed and get an hours worth of sleep. All the horrible things she's been forced to do come back to her.

Everyone she's hurt, everything she's sacrificed

it's all gone.

Marinette let out a loud cry of pain as she fell to her knees, suddenly hating herself. Why hawkmoth? was her initiative thought.
Why?

Deciding to think on the positive side, she realized that she saved someone else's suffering , Hawkmoth could've done it to someone else but he found her, she could say she saved someones life.

She smiled through her utterly inexplainable pain and just softly resting her head on the wooden floor in her room, letting a soft blanket of sleep cover her. The first amount of peaceful sleep she's had for a while.

Adrien::

"Yeah Kim, i'll come around 9." Adrien finished his long phonecall with his old friend Kim. Who invited Adrien to a reunion him and his friends were going to have.

"Baby." Lila cooed as she went and sat by him on the long couch.
"Yes Lila?" Adrien smiled in a sad attempt but Lila was too worried about herself to notice his troublesome state.
"What should I wear to Kim's party?"
"Black, lets match." Adrien smiled proudly this time, he decided to just enjoy tonight.

Lila threw on a black body-con dress and her favorite red bottoms, that Adrien bought her for her last birthday. She let go of the two sections of her hair that were tied and curled it. She also attempted a more natural but still pretty obvious makeup look.
She looked nice, but Adrien couldn't seem to find the same excitement he used to have for her.

"You look stunning." He lied to himself and her.
"You too baby." She purred and deep inside he cringed.

He was wearing a black pants with a matching black shirt. Pretty basic until you see the price tag.

Adrien's driver drove them and once they arrived Lila and Adrien were stunned, Kim's house was gorgeous, nothing to extravagant but it was... clean!

"Adrien my favorite model." Kim winked at Adrien, and soon laughed.
"and Lila.." He waved and greeted her quickly and switched his attention back to Adrien.

"Hey Kim, how's it been babe." Adrien winked back at Kim who whistled and then both of them started cackling.
They began walking into the house and it was empty, no one was there, which Adrien was surprised with.

"Where's everyone?" Lila spoke up.
Kim ignored her and continued walking to a door and Adrien instantly heard loud music.
He had a party room in his basement, that was smart.

"This is amazing Kim!" Adrien yelled over the music as we accelerated down the stairs.
"Tricks the police too." Kim laughed.
Once they all got downstairs Adrien saw faces that he recognized and didn't.

"Hey Adrien!" Nino was the first to see him.
Then everyone turned to them.
Adrien could literally feel Lila roll her eyes, as she wasn't used to being this ignored.
She might be gorgeous but the attitude ruins it.

"Adrikins!" Chloe pounces on Adrien nearly knocking him down.
"Calm it Chloe." Lila scowled at Chloe, who was getting too close to Adrien.
"Shut up you know I don't want him." Chloe remarked and walked back to the group.

Adrien didn't see Marinette.. maybe she wasn't invited?

Or she was ?

"Hey Adrien, it's been a while.." Kagami snuck up on Adrien and held onto his arm, Lila wasn't there and Chloe was partying so it was just them.
"Kagami! Last time I saw you.." Adrien didn't finish because he sorta didn't want to bring back old memories but Kagami didn't take the hint.

"We had a intimate moment.. and I have to tell you something, Adrien, its important.."

"Wait are you..?" Adrien started and Kagami got the idea really fast.

"No i'm not pregnant stupid, you don't have to worry, but ever since our last practice where that happened, i've been thinking about you.."
Kagami smiled looking into his eyes.

"Kagami as much as I appreciate your feelings, I can't, there's someone else."

"Isn't there always.." She looks down sadly, "Isn't it Lila.." She looks up doubtfully.
"Yeah." Adrien lies, when really it was another bluenette, with bluebell eyes, not brown ones.

It was Marinette.

Finally Adrien is slightly maturing! and yes him and Kagami had a fling in this story but it won't affect the plot much. update will come soon!
