Hey

Beautiful, beautiful,
beautiful, beautiful
angel.
Love your imperfections
every angle

Her eyes flutter open, the sun kissing  her rosy cheeks. She smiles into my palm, her skin soft and warm.

"Morning," she hums, as she places a small kiss on my neck. Her brown curls run everywhere, tickling my arm.

"Good morning, angel," I trace her lips with my thumb, my eyes trailing her soft features. A giggle escapes her mouth as she buries her face further into my neck.

My fingers trail up and down her back slowly. I smile as she sighs, knowing it soothes her.

She looks up at me, her hand rising to push my hair back. She shakes her head as her eyes study mine, a grin on her lips.

"What?" I laugh down at her.

Her smile widens, "Nothing, I just love you."

My heart leaps, still mesmerized that a girl, as beautiful and kind, could love someone like me.

"I love you too," I say, before capturing her lips in mine.

The kiss is gentle, sweet. I pull back, though our faces only inches apart, and cup her cheek. I run my thumb across her smooth skin, studying her eyes.

"You're so beautiful," I whisper against her lips. She blushes, taking my hand from her face.

"I'm not," she shakes her head. She stands from bed, walking into the bathroom.

My eyebrows crinkle as I tilt my head. Does she honestly not see what I see? I chuckle, standing up, matching her footsteps to the bathroom.

She stands at the sink, looking into the mirror. She stares back at herself, a hint of disappointment in her eyes.

I step behind her, resting my chin on her shoulder. I wrap my arms around her waist, watching her with a sad smile.

"You're beautiful," I state once again. Her eyes snap to mine, a look of "your just saying that," on her face.

I sigh, turning her to me. I run my fingers through her hair, combing it behind her ears.

I hold her shoulders, her hands wrapped around my forearms.

"You are beautiful Kayc. Whether you see it or not, I don't know, but I see it. When you smile, rainbows literally erupt in the sky."

She giggles, rolling her eyes.

"I see it in your eyes, kindness and warmth all wrapped up in one tiny space."

"Sean," she continues to laugh, slapping my arm. I shake my head, my features becoming serious.

"But most importantly, I see it in here," I place my hand over her heart. "Your heart, Kayc, your heart is where your true beauty lies. Yes, your gorgeous on the outside, but that's not what made me fall in love with you. I fell in love with you becasue your heart is so big.

You're so kind, and gentle. You see the best in people, even when others may not. You're soul is so special, so pure. Your beauty is there Kaycee, you just have to find it and see it for yourself."

Her eyes glisten, a smile on her lips. She shakes her head, holding my hand tightly in hers.

She suddenly throws her arms around my shoulders, her face sinking into my neck. I wrap my arms around her waist tightly, sighing into her hair.

We stand this way for some time, rocking back and forth slightly in each others arms.

"Thank you," her voice shakes, "for everything."

I nod, "Of course, love."

We pull away shortly after. "I should really be the one thanking you," I smile at her.

"Thanking me for what?" She laughs.

I intertwine my fingers with hers, "For being my best friend. For being my partner, in life and in dance. Just for understanding me, and for being there for me. I couldn't imagine a world without you in it. It would be pretty bland don't you think?" I chuckle, leading us out of the bathroom.

She squeezes my hand, resting her head against my arm. "You're welcome," she whispers.
