"Cathy! Emily! Time to wake up girls." My mum shouts from down stairs.
Emily...
WHAT!?!
What does she mean by Emily? Why would she even be here?
I turn my head and face my pillow...Emily is snoring her head off, in my bed. I can't believe it. We must have fell asleep while writing the guest list!
I nudge Em's arm to wake her up. "ugh! I was sleeping." She moans and rolls onto her stomach. "Breakfast is ready!" My Mum calls.
"Seriously!?!" Em whispers.
I push her out of bed and we walk to the kitchen.
"Be quick girls. Don't forget you have school today!" Mum grins.
We quickly 'throw' some milk in our mouths and get ready to go. We lift up our bags, place a strap on our shoulder and walk out of the door.
We walk to the tube station...
"I'm finally allowed to take the tube! Just because I'm with you..." I say. "I'm too responsible I guess." Em spins in a circle with a huge grin on her face.
"Show off!" I say and jump on the tube, Em follows.
The tube starts moving slowly, for only about two or three seconds. Suddenly, it stops.
I hear a voice speaking from the speakers, "There has been a slight delay, a man has jumped in front of this vehicle. The engine will stay still for about 20 minutes. I depends on how fast things are sorted out. It could take a while, sorry to keep you waiting. We let you know more as soon as we can."
I turn my head to face Emily. "Oh my God! You must be kidding me. This will take ages!!!" She screams to the whole tube.
"Calm down. I'm sure it's going to be fine. They'll get this sorted soon." I reply.
40 minutes pass...
"We are sorry for any inconvenience formed and for the lack of punctuality. We have tried to do the best we can do regarding the very sentimental issue. This tube will start moving again in just a minute. Sorry again." The speakers announce.
The whole public on the transport clap and cheer sarcastically. Most of the people start making ironic jokes and phrases about how mad the guy who jumped must have been and how slow it took to sort things out.
I stay silent.

We arrive at the school gates, 1 hour and a half late.
Em is starting to annoy me.
She keeps going on, and on, and on about how dumb the person was and how there were thousands of things which must have been wrong with him and his brain.
At one point she surprisingly mentions something about how she was happy that he had died as he was no use to the world and the fact that regarding his 'dumbness' he was probably going to live a very boring life and it would have helped him and his family, the fact that he was alive, in no way whatsoever.
I totally disagree. I have a problem and it doesn't make me useless and I think it would make a difference to me and my family if I were to be alive or dead.
