The rain pitter-pattered as it hit the glass of my window. Never did I think I would resent the rain more than I did in that moment. All of it was gone, left as just memories in the broken picture frames on my floor. Tears slipping from my eyes, there was nothing left for me in the empty apartment I had shared before it all happened.

Thinking back on old memories, all of it was just my imagination. All of it was just me convincing myself that it would get better. Falling down that rabbit hole of your fake love, I stayed and endured all of it.

But look at where it led me.

People had told me over and over again that you weren't worth it. I should have listened. It wasn't worth it. You weren't worth it. None of it was. You become everything to me. All I did was care for your needs.

Did you even care for me in the slightest?

Every moment we were together, all you did was yell at me.

Did we even get to have a calm conversation?

Every moment was me trying to make sure you were satisfied with how I was.

Did you even look at me as a human being and not just a body?

Every moment was me trying to do something for you. It was me trying when you stopped caring. Now you're gone and happy...

So why can't I move on?
