I wanted to do something fun at the end of the story, something that I've never done before. Depending on how much fun I find this, I might do it at the end of most of my future stories. I've shortlisted nominees in each category and then chose my winner. Obviously, you can disagree or tell me if I've missed out any nominees. Leave a comment on the categories/winner and let me know what you think!
Favourite Main Character ~ This was a really hard category to choose from. Martha is the main character and I love her but she is incredibly flawed. Sam came into the story as the man who broke her heart years ago but then redeemed himself and I love him. That said, at the end of the day, there's only one way to determine this.
THE WINNER IS: A TIE
Favourite supporting character ~ If you're wondering why Nina Taylor didn't end up on this list, no, it's not because I don't like her. It's because she didn't feature very much in the story. Therefore, I went with the four characters that I felt were more 'supportive' roles.
1. Keira Delaney is Martha's best friend and just had to make the list based on her very sarcastic personality. The fact that she can call Martha 'bitch' and say it in a loving way makes her amazing in my book.
2. Logan Leahy is Sam's best friend. He's funny, down-to-earth and is one of the few that can call Keira out on her BS.
3. James Saylor. Why wouldn't he make the list?
4. Aoife O'Shae. Although she didn't feature a lot, when she did, she made me laugh. Plus, she now has a pair of Louboutins and a YSL bag going back to Dublin with her. I'm jealous.
THE WINNER IS: JAMES SAYLOR
