A Wolf That No Longer Howls - Murder #1

A scream. That's the first thing that's heard as soon as everyone wakes up. And this time, a loud claxon sounds, almost deafening Casey and most likely the others as well.

"A DEAD BODY HAS BEEN UNCOVERED!! EVERYONE FIND THE CORPSE AND YOU HAVE TIME TO INGESTIGATE FOR CLUES!!"

Casey's eyes widen. "Someone's been killed!!" he prayed it wasn't either Jarrod, Camille, Lily or Rose. He quickly gets changed and he throws open his door. He can hear someone shout. It's Lily. She's alive.

"EVERYONE!! EVERYONE PLEASE HURRY!!!" she sounds desperate, like she was fighting tears. Casey runs her way and meets up with Jarrod; Camille was nowhere to be seen.

"Jarrod, where's Camille?!" Casey asks frantically, eyes wide with panic. Jarrod turns and points at a terrified Camille who's trying to desperately keep up. She's so scared, her skin is almost white and she looks so shaken. Jarrod quickly gives her a sugar sweet to calm her already high nerves, and the group continue to run, until they meet up with everyone else in a corridor... and see the body.

RJ lies slumped against the wall, still in his PJs. There's a long cut on his neck, and blood seeps from the wounds. There's four stab wounds; two on his left arm, another in his stomach and one on his foot, most likely so he couldn't run away. Blood covered the walls and the corpse. It was a terrifying sight.

Dom hides his face, shaken. His friend was killed, murdered. He wasn't sure what to do! Camille gags and Jarrod has to give her another sugar sweet so she couldn't throw up. Rose rushes off and Lily follows; neither girls could stomach this sight. Maya seemed quite relaxed; after all, she was the Ultimate Hunter so she's used to corpses and blood, but she was still in complete horror. Guin seemed relaxed as well, but she too was shocked by the unholy sight. Theo was close to throwing up as well, and Casey was just in plain shock. Jarrod was the least shocked of the boys, but everyone could see the fear in his eyes. He was only staying calm so he wouldn't make Camille more shaken. It definately wasn't him who killed RJ.

"Alright, can we grab whatever sanity we have left and look for clues as to who could have done it?" asks Theo, being the first to snap into reality. One by one, everyone manages to get a grip and start searching, apart from Camille who was still gagging a little. Jarrod was starting to worry; was she linked to this? Casey can see he's thinking it and puts a hand on his shoulder.

"Is she alright?"

"Yea, I guess she's just not used to seeing a person so brutally murdered. I can't blame her; it's sickening."

Camille calms herself and manages to grab her notebook and pen, writing something. "I have never in my life seen a corpse with so many stab wounds.. and so much blood! I feel like I'm gonna be sick."

Jarrod sighs quietly; why the hell would the killer act like this? It wasn't her, thats for sure. "Alright, so we need to look for any clues; is that okay with you Camille?"

"Yes, thats fine. As long as I don't have to touch the corpse, I'll be alright."

Jarrod nods and gives her a few more sugary sweets to keep her relaxed. He turns to the others and notices both Rose and Lily rushing back from the loos with shocked faces.

"GUYS! YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT'S HAPPENED!!" Lily panicks. Rose scribbles something frantically.

"FOLLLOW US"

Everyone abandons RJ's dead body and rushes after Rose and Lily. They reach the loos to see blood on one of the male loo doors. They head in and everyone gasps.

There's blood in the sink, and some on the mirror. It's still wet, meaning the murder was done recently. Camille gags again and hides her eyes from the sight, Jarrod holding her close so she doesn't see the blood. Maya seems more calmer, and she looks at everyone. "I-It's only blood this time. N-No corpse." They nod. This shouldn't be so hard.

"Alright, so we have blood in the bathroom.. could RJ had been in here when he was murdered?" asks Theo, tilting his head.

"But why his body be in the corridor? How could you be killed in a bathroom but have your body in the corridors?" Dom questions. Theo shrugs; he has no idea.

"Maybe he was dragged?" comments Lily. Camille, now less shocked, shakes her head and write something.

"If he was dragged, there'd be blood all over the corridor leading to the body, correct? And he must have been bleeding a lot considering there's blood in both here and the hall." Lily nods; that seems to make the most sense.

"Alright; Camille and Jarrod can you go look in RJ's room and see if there's any hints there?" Dom turns to the two and they nod, fleeing the room quickly. "Rose, Lily and Guin can you lot stay here and try to find evidence? And the rest of us can head to the corpse for any clues." The girls nod and start to look around. The guys all run back to the corpse and begin to check for clues.

"Well... there appears to be some bruises around his neck... Dom do you still have your camera?" asks Theo.

"Yea I do. I'll be able to look at the nice group shot we took yesterday..." he chokes up with emotion, but forces a smile on his face. "I'll go get the camera!" He quickly heads off, and reappears about 5 minutes later with the camera. "Got it!" Maya claps happily and grins.

"Alright, take some snapshots will you? Once we find out who killed him and all that, you can delete those pics so you won't freak out or anything" orders Theo. Dom quickly snaps some images; the stab wounds and the bruises on RJ's neck are very easy to see in the snapshots.

"Okay, so that's a little bit of evidence... anything else?" Maya carefully pulls the knives out from RJ's corpse, wanting to gag a little. She refused to pull out the one that stabbed his stomach, leaving that one in place.

"Well, we should inspect the area. Not all over the corridor, just around the body. Maybe he's sitting on something, who knows?" Dom suggests, and he along with Theo manage to move RJ out the way. A small piece of white fluff was there, no blood touching it at all.

"Fluff? What the-?" Theo's eyes widen. "I think I might have guessed who killed RJ."

"Who?"

"Wait for when it's Court Hearing, Casey."

About 10 seconds later, Jarrod and Camille run down the corridor from RJ's room. "We found something!" Jarrod grins triumphantly and reveals some more white fluff. "We found this on the floor just outside his bedroom door. There was nothing else that could show how he died, but we saw this and Camille suggested we should count is as evidence and bring it back." Camille scribbles something.

"What have you lot found?" they can tell her eyes are trying to keep away from RJ's dead body, and Jarrod holds her protectively, letting her rest her head on his shoulder so she can't see.

"We also found fluff. Dom took some photos, and we haven't heard from the girls yet." Casey sighs. "I hope they're alright." They continue to inspect the corpse; there was only stab wounds and the bruises around his neck.

"Hey guys, how's your search coming along?" Guin appears in the corridor and rushes up to them.

"We've got some wierd fluff and the knives as evidence. Also, we took some pictures that might help us out" Answers Maya. "How's things on your end?"

Guin shakes her head and sighs. "We found nothing. Rose kept gagging because of the blood; Lily said she's screamish, and I can't blame her. There is a LOT of blood in that bathroom."

"Where are the girls, Guin?" asks Theo. Guin turns and points to where the bathroom is, and as if in response Rose and Lily appear and rush down to the others. "Oh, there they are!"

"Hey everyone! We found no evidence, but I'm guessing you lot did!" Rose scribbles down with the help of Lily this time.

"TIME IS UP! EVERYONE HEAD TO THE MAIN HALL FOR THE COURT HEARING!!" The alarm goes off and makes everyone jump. Dom takes one last look at his dead friend, turns on his heel, and walks off, everyone else following.
