Truth Or Dare

"Alright, so we have two hours to play this game until its 10pm; that should be long enough!" chuckles Maya as she looks at her friends all sitting in a circle. Everyone was surprisingly cheery today; there'd been no deaths all day. Nothing. Not even suicide or attempted murders. Everyone had been hanging around in one big group and had been exploring most the day. There was a potion room, much to the Ultimate Alchemist's delight, there was a training room, which excited the Ultimate Hunter and Ultimate Fighter immensely, and there was also a large library with computers too. A pang of pain hit Dom as he remembered RJ, the Ultimate Programmer. He would have loved that room so much.

"Remind me why we're playing this game again?" asks Theo. He had played a game of Truth Or Dare one time before, and he vowed to never play it again; things didn't exactly go the way he wished during Truth Or Dare.

"Because we've searched the whole temple and we've seen everything we can see! You are such a buzzkill Theo!" Maya brushes some of her ginger hair out her eyes and notices Theo is glaring at her. Casey bites his lip and quickly interrupts.

"Okay, so who's going first then?" he asks. Camille holds up her notepad.

"Not me. I've only ever played truth or dare once before, when i was 10."

Rose holds up her notepad as well. "Same here. Plus, I can't exactly see whether the person did the dare so...yea." Lily smiles and puts a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry Rose; we'll do it as a team!" she says with a warm grin. Rose smiles back and the two hug. Everyone else can't help but grin too; it was so cute to see two teens just so happy, despite everything that's been happening.

"I'll go first then" says Dom bravely. "Hmmm... Jarrod, Truth Or Dare?"

"Dammit!" Jarrod groans and Camille giggles. "Ugh, Truth."

"Is is true that you have a crush on Camille?" he asks. Everyone laughs at Jarrod's shocked expression and Camille herself looks slightly amused.

"I-I... ummm... D-do i really have to answer this?"

"YES!!" everyone practically shouts and then laughs, Camille blushing bright pink as she waits patiently for the answer.

"Ugh... I-It's true. I do have a little crush on her." Jarrod blushes a little and Camille goes from bright pink to a deep red blush in seconds. She doesn't know what to think at all. But after a few seconds, she softly kisses Jarrod on the cheek. Jarrod blushes brightly, and she giggles.

"Wup okay moving on!" says Lily, flailing her arms a little and making everyone laugh. She was such an adorable teen.

"Alright, who's turn next? Casey, ask anyone a question!"

"UMM.... Rose, truth or dare?"

Rose scribbles on her notepad. "Truth; I cant do daress."

Casey grins. "Is it true that you and Lily kissed on one occasion??"

"WAIT WHAT?!" Lily looks completely taken aback, and Jarrod can't help but laugh properly this time.

Rose pouts and scribbles something. "Its tru, but it wass onli a kiss on the forhead. Nothing more, i swear." She shows them what she wrote and Lily hides her face in embarrassment. It was too funny, and everyone was just laughing.

The game went on for ages, and everyone seemed to have a blast. They'd completely forgotten about the whole "we have to kill each other or we're trapped forever" part of staying in the temple. But really, it was like a hotel. The food, the library, everything that was there, it all felt like one big house that they all lived in. It was so nice. And for once, they forgot about the deaths, and forgot that today could be their last, and just played.

"RING RING, IT'S 10PM!! EVERYONE HEAD TO YOUR ASSIGNED BEDROOMS! GOODNIGHT!!" the nighttime bell made everyone groan, but it was late and they were all very tired. Camille had already fallen asleep in Jarrod's arms. She looked absolutely adorable as she snoozed.

"Well I chalk today up as a complete success! No deaths, no crying, no frantic screaming, nothing!" Dom sighs with relief. Maya grins and gives him the thumbs up.

"You're right! Today was great! We should do this more often!" She squeals. "I love a good game with friends and family! It always makes me feel so happy and warm inside!" Yawning quietly, she stands up. "Well I'm off to bed! Goodnight everyone!" she runs off to the dorms.

"Does that girl ever run out of energy?" asks Casey with a chuckle. Jarrod shakes his head and grins cheekily.

"I doubt it; she is so hyper and so optimistic." He stands up, Camille in his arms. "We'd better get to bed; all of us."

Theo nods and gets to his feet. "Ugh, my legs are so numb!"

Lily laughs, smiling. "Thats what you get when you kneel for ages!" Theo chuckles and starts to head off to the dorms, with Rose and Lily in pursuit. Jarrod follows behind them and Casey and Dom bring up the rear of their little line.

None of them knew that the most optimistic girl there...

Would be smiling more than ever. And NOT in a very pleasant way.
