It wasn't long before the nerves started to get to everyone. Camille refused to sit with anybody but Jarrod, Rose and Lily wouldn't even say hello to anyone, Dom didn't say a word and Casey couldn't even go to the bathroom without someone coming with him. No-one wanted to die. And after the sudden death of their Optimistic Girl, no-one wanted to smile.

Casey came into the Mess Hall the day after Maya and Theo's deaths to see Jarrod and Dom getting in each others faces for some reason. They were clearly arguing. Rose was trying to stop Dominic and Camille was trying to drag Jarrod away from this. Lily was just shouting for them both to shut up and stop fighting. But neither had any intentions. They were starting to shove each other, getting rough. Casey ran over and pushed the two apart.

"Hey hey hey. what the hell is going on here?!" asks Casey, trying to remain calm. Jarrod muttered something along the lines of Dom trying to attack him, and Dominic seemed enraged by that.

"Jarrod tried to stab me!" he shouted. Jarrod glared at him with his bright brown eyes.

"No I didn't! You were the one who decided to barge right into me and knock me over!"

"So why did you grab a knife then?!"

"BECAUSE I AM FUCKING SCARED! I CAN'T TURN A CORNER NOW WITHOUT WONDERING IF SOMEONE IS GONNA JUMP OUT AT ME AND MURDER ME! CAMILLE IS THE ONLY ONE I CAN FUCKING TRUST BECAUSE I'M SO SCARED SOMEONE ELSE WILL TRY AND MAKE THEIR MOVE!!" Jarrod shouts as loud as his voice will allow him, tears hitting his eyes. Camille throws her arms around him and Jarrod holds her close, protecting her.

"We're all scared. No-one wants to say a word incase someone gets pissed off at them; look the last thing we need is people being enemies, alright? I know you were defending yourself, but next time you want to defend yourself, don't grab a knife, okay? I-I'm sorry for barging into you" Dom turns away and starts to walk off. Jarrod puts a hand on his shoulder, making him stop and turn around.

"I-I'm sorry too. I-I'm just really on edge..." Jarrod bites his lip and smiles a little. Dom grins and the two brohug. Rose squeals and claps her hands, jumping up and down. Casey grins, glad that the tension was gone. Lily brushes hair out her eyes and smiles; at least she could relax now. Camille hugs both the boys, a big smile on her face.

Everyone was getting slightly nervous since they lost Maya and Theo in the last round. Dom was right: Now wasn't the time to make enemies. Whenever people went to rooms, everyone would follow. No-one wanted to risk another person dying.

Camille tugs Jarrod's sleeve, and he turns to her. She's holding up her notepad, and she's wrote something. "Cheer up Jarrod! We'll be alright; we'll all be alright. Yea we might not be able to leave if no-one kills another but hey, this place isn't that bad is it? And as long as we stay here, we'll be able to stay here as friends!"

Jarrod grins and hugs his friend. He knows that she's trying to be the optimistic one and keep everyone happy, and honestly that did help a little. At least there was one person that hadn't lost all hope yet. Everyone couldn't help but smile again; she was right. Even is they didn't kill and had to stay here, at least they'd be able to stay here as good friends.

Camille had taken over Maya's role as the one to cheer everyone up. Rose was also assisting her with that by helping her set up little games and things to do in order to make everyone more happy. So far things seemed to be working; people were growing a little less edgy by the hour and finally people could start to walk around in small clumps and pairs rather than in one massive group and going round like a school of fish.

They knew someone would eventually snap and murder another, but until that time they just had to keep their chins up and keep on smiling. When they looked at everything in that perspective, it didn't seem that bad.

No-one had any idea about the horrors that awaited them.

Authors note: Yes i know this section is smaller than the others, but I don't exactly find filler the most amazing thing on the planet. Plus, I'm down to 6 people, and there's not exactly much you can do with 6 people who are at tearing point; I don't want multiple kills in a row, that would make this story way too short :P All i can say is... *puts on sunglasses* deal with it.
