Josuke Higashikata: Mute

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Yelled someone from behind Josuke and me.

"Well if u must know I'm trying to get over my fear of reptiles, they really creep me out" Josuke saying reaching for the shell.

"Does it look like I give a shit!?" The guy yells and slaps Josuke. I grab his arm and pull for us to leave but he bows and apologizes. "Where do u think you're trying to go," he asks ripping me away from Josuke and throwing me into his friends who grab me and whole me still. I struggle against their grip touching hands that were sliding up my legs. I try to scream but as always nothing came out.

Next, think I know Josuke sends the guy flying screaming about his hair. The men drop me and I fall to the ground and grab onto his arm pulling for him to stop, he makes eye contact with me and his face softens. I grab the turtle handing it to him to heal.

"You made me touch something I didn't want to touch! How are u going to it up to me?!" He yells his anger boiling up a bit. They run off and I notice a tall handsome man walking toward us I grab and squeeze Josuke's hand getting his attention. There was a moment of staring before Josuke jumps at the sound of the turtle.

I smile and silently giggle at his actions, he smiles at me and squeezes my hand.

"Josuke Higashkata.." The man says catching our attention again. He talks about different things about Josuke, what is this guy? "Your father is Joseph Joestar," he says and Josuke's grip on my hand tightens, I add my other hand on his forearm to comfort him. His dad is a bit of a touchy subject.

I walked with Jotaro-san and Josuke while they spoke not understanding much of what was going on but I could tell Josuke was wildly uncomfortable. "Who are you?" he asks gesturing to myself, I look at Josuke and back at him. "You've been silent this whole time I've never met a girl as quiet as you" he adds with a smirk. 

I sign "It's not by choice" and Josuke tells him since I'm sure Jotaro can't sign, most people can't Josuke can't sign very well but he can understand me just fine. He says his brain is in his head and mine is in my hands or something I don't know. 

"Oh, my apologies miss.."

"Aiko," Josuke says for me "She is my friend, I am pretty much her interpreter," he says with one arm behind his head. Yeah just his disabled friend, sometimes I feel like he only does this out of pity. 

"Nice to meet you, anyway back to what-" Jotaro is cut off by girls from our school running over, I detach from his arm knowing that it's not my place to get in their way. I look at Jotaro and act like I'm shooting myself in the mouth. He smirks but then one screech and he looks like he is going to rip someones face off. I get ready to leave when I hear Jotaro say something about Josuke's hair I drop my bag and turn around, too late he is pissed! Before any punching can happen I jump between them they both freeze. 

"Move you heard what he said Aiko!" Josuke boarder line blind rage says and I turn to look at him and cross my arms.

"He didn't insult you! Don't be such a baby I know what your hair means to you but others don't so chill out before he lays you out on the pavement. I am only doing this because-" he pushes my hands down cutting me off.

"I know I know because you care," he says loosening up I turn and go to grab my bag and I hear a sound and someone falls I turn and see Josuke on his ass with blood coming from his lip. Jotaro walks closer to Josuke and now I'm pissed I lung at Jotaro from behind catching him off guard swinging my weight I nearly bring him to the ground I jump off and run in front of Josuke looking rather surprised at the situation. I intervened and this asshole punch Josuke! My body starts to glow and Josuke grabs my hand and stands up. I look at him and use my bandana from my bag to wipe off the blood from his mouth while looking to see if any teeth were damaged.  "Aiko I'm ok and I'm pretty sure Jotaro was trying to help me up, I flipped him off and he punched me," he says and I look at Jotaro who was straightening his hat.

Blush spread over my face and I felt so bad. I freak out "oh god! Tell him I'm sorry please tell him I'm sorry oh my god!" He chuckles and I walk over to Jotaro checking him for any signs that I may have hurt him. "She is very sorry if ur hurt at all I can fix you-you're just lucky she didn't use her stand," he says and Jotaro looks down at me.

"You're a stand user too?" He asks and I nodded.

"When I was young I had a dream I was shot in the throat with an arrow and when I woke up I tried to scream and couldn't, then I noticed a couple days later I have a stand" I sign and Josuke translates.

"Shot with an arrow hmm," he says and shoves a hand into his pocket. "Josuke we will finish this later you guys should head to school. Nice to meet you Aiko" he says and we notice the time taking off toward the school.

Talk about a weird first morning to your first day of high school.
