1%er: MC that is outlaw. Considered violent or engaged in illegal things by law enforcement
99%er: MC/RC (Riding Club) that operates legally, not an outlaw group
3-piece colors: Top rocker is the MC name, middle/main is the insignia, bottom rocker is the territory
MC: Motorcycle club
Ape Hangers: High handlebars that rise above the rider's shoulders
Broomsticks: Straight handlebars
Brands: The ink that an old lady wears stating who her old man is and his club
Church: A club meeting
Citizen: A person with no Motorcycle Club affiliation
Colors: Patches, logo, uniform associated with a Motorcycle Club. Flying colors means to ride wearing your cut/3-piece
Cut: Denim jacket with sleeves cut off, or leather vest that holds the person's patches stitched on it
Hang-around: Someone who hangs around the club wanting to be noticed, so they will be invited to prospect.
Ink Slinger: A tattoo artist.
Mother Chapter: The original chapter of the MC, with several chapters in different cities or countries (I'm aware SOA uses the term "Charter," just like the Angels have taken to do, but my clubs are old school, and like the Vagos, Mongols, Bandidos, Pagans, Warlocks, etc., they use the term chapter.)
Nomad: A member of the MC who isn't bound to a specific chapter, but rides between geographical chapters freely. Wears Nomad as their bottom rocker
Old Lady/Ol' lady: Longtime girlfriend or wife of a member. Isn't about age & isn't a derogatory term
Prospect: Someone who's proving their worth to the club in order to be patched in as a full member
Property Patch: The patch an old lady wears on her jacket, stating that she belongs to a certain member.
MC Ranks/Titles:
President/ Prez
Vice President/ Veep
Sargent- At-Arms (SGT at Arms). Sometimes also called an Enforcer, but can be a separate position.
Road Captain
Secretary
Treasurer
Enforcer
Tail-Gunner
Chaplain
Member
Prospect
