Blurryface staggered down the lonely road.
The trees seemed as they were leaning into him.
His mind was blank.
He didn't think about where he was going.
He walked slowly.
He had a dead expression on his face.
His tired eyes drooped.
He dragged his feet on the road as he walked.
He was almost possessed.
Not literally.

The sky was grey.
There was no sign of sun anywhere.
He just wanted to crawl back to her life.
He knows she is waiting for him.
She'll be a night mime until then.
There she stood in the middle of the road.
Her back was facing him.

"Cry Baby."
Blurryface mumbled.
He reached his arm out to touch her shoulder.
She didn't move.
It's like she didn't hear him.
"Cry Baby."
He repeated.
His hand was placed on her shoulder.

"W-What?!"
"What?!"

Blurryface felt as if someone were shaking him.
No one was around him besides Cry Baby.
She wasn't moving.

"Wake up!"
"What do you want?!"

Blurryface felt himself move.
He was still in his trance.
He felt warmth around his hands.
Bump. Bump. Bump.
A heartbeat.
He felt the thing he was holding vibrate.
As if it were a voice.
He felt the object pulling away but he didn't let it go.
He pulled it even closer to himself.

"Blurryface?"
His eyes shot open.
He looked up slowly at the figure in front of him.
It was Cry Baby.
He felt scared and sad and lost.
He had tears in his red eyes.

Blurryface could sense the fear in the girl with the half pink, half black, bigger lips, chocolate eyes, and sweet personality.
She started to get dizzy.
But he wasn't choking her out.
Her eyes fell down at the ground.
They came back up to look into the red eyes instantly.
She wasn't trying to get away anymore.

"Blurryface?"
She repeated.
He felt his heart skip a beat.
He loved it when she said his name.

That's when he heard the loud thump, thump, thump.
More whispering from behind him.

"Watch it."
"T-t-t-two f-f-faces."

"Help me."
Blurryface whispered to Cry Baby.
He snapped, he started yelling.
"Help me! They're coming! They're coming to hurt me!"
The girl's eyes widened.
"W-what? Get up! Leave! Come on!"
She tugged at his collar but he didn't budge.
Cry Baby realized it was just one of his moments.
No one was really there.

"They're gonna kill me! I'm gonna end up hurting you! Run!"
But his hands didn't leave her neck.
And she didn't move.
"No."
Blurryface paused after what she had said.
He felt the flicker in his eyes.
"You're okay, no one's coming."
Blurryface felt Cry Baby wrap her arms around his body.
Still, his hands were glued to her neck.
She whispered things like:
"It's okay."
And
"No one's coming."
Blurryface lost the grip around her neck.
His hands fell down to his lap.
The thing that really made Blurryface think was her saying:
"It's all in your head."
