I told him goodnight and what does he say, "Goodnight, Lola. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Also, can I have your number?"
I thought that he was kidding, but he had a serious look on his face. I handed him my number and he gave me his.
I left his house, then all of a sudden I got a text.
Chase: Wanted to see if you would answer.
Lola: Why wouldn't I answer you?
Chase: IDK, just thought that you would ignore me.
Lola: Trust me I would never ignore you, goodnight.
Chase: Goodnight
I still can't believe that Chase wanted my number, but I'm not complaining.
I think that I like him, but I don't know yet.
*The next day *
I saw him. I saw Chase sitting with some of his friends.
I don't think that had seen me. I hope that he didn't.
All of a sudden he started walking toward me, Oh no what am I going to do. I quickly thought of something really quick. I grabbed out my phone, acting like I didn't see him.
Obviously, it didn't work, man.
He asked me, " What are you doing?"
I just say," Um nothing anymore."
He just said, " Ummmhmm sure. Well anyways," while he was scratching the back of his neck, " I umm.. was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me?"
I was in complete shock. Did he just ask me on a date? I don't even know what to say. So I decided to say, " Yes, what could go wrong?"
He picked me up and spun me. Then he put me down and said, "Thank you, thank you, thank you."
I was like, "Why are you thanking me when I should be thanking you? I love spending time with you."
He just said, " I was thanking you because I well umm... like you and I don't know what I would have done if you had said no." He stopped then said, " And don't worry I love spending time with you too."
I'm trying to process all this information. He likes me. Wait for how long? I should tell him how I feel too. I hope he takes it well.
I decided to tell him, " I like you too."
