Marshall's POV

As soon as I got out of the castle, I ran swiftly towards (your name)'s house. I bolted to the little cottage and knocked on the door. Someone stirred inside, and opened it.

There she was. As beautiful as she had always been. Wearing sweatpants and a (Colour) T-Shirt. Black glasses fell slightly down her nose and I wanted to scoop her up right there and just breath in.

Except she beat me to it.

(Your name) slammed into me with such force, I tumbled and landed on my butt, but she just laughed and kept hugging me. I hugged her back, both of us sitting, just wanting the moment never to end.

"I love you." She whispered into my ear. I smiled wider than I ever had before.

"I love you more than the stars love the moon." I whispered back.

Your POV

Marshall's back and it's fantastic. No more hours of crying and hiding away. Not anymore. You've been hanging out with Marshall a lot, teaching him how to ride a bike, which was hilarious cause he kept falling over.

"Find your balance!" you yell over your shoulder.

"I can't! It's hard!" Marshall squeals as he falls over for the seventh time.

I laugh and he laughs too. Its actually not all that funny because the back of Marshall's jeans are covered in mud and those are his favorite, but he'll figure it out soon enough.

"So, what do you say to some dinner?" you ask, sliding off your bike and walking it back to the porch.

"Sure, I'm starving." He says and you stop at the candy kingdom and grab some milkshakes and French fries, dinner weekend style.

"How is it?" you ask as Marshall sips his strawberry milkshake.

"It's really really really good." he says, sucking back almost the whole glass. suddenly, he cringes in pain and holds his head. "Oh my glob! My brain!" he yells.

"It's just a brain freeze. It'll pass." you laugh, popping a French fry in your mouth. Marshall is still holding his head, but he slowly eases off. you were so glad he was back.

"Hey, can I tell you something?" you ask.

"Sure. lay it on me." he sips his milkshake.

And you kissed him.

And Marshall couldn't help but smile. His lips tasted like strawberry milkshake and French fries.
