Next morning...

Nandini woke up smiling.... She was much better now.... But suddenly her smile turned to a frown... She was not in her room... duh.... It didn't even looked like any of the room she has seen till date....... It was so bigh....

She was admiring and was looking around when she felt someone holding her from her waist and someone's hot breath on her neck....

She turned only to find Manik...though she relaxed for a second or two .... Suddenly she started panicking remembering her current condition....... her messed up life.....

She tried moving out from his grip but it only got tighter.... Frustrated she pinched him hard making him scream loud enough to scare her.....

Manik : what the hell....???!!!??

He said rubbing his hand where he got pinched and looked at his little baby who has already covered her eyes already due to fear.....

What if he beats her....! ..Manik smiled at her cuteness... Slowly he raised his hand and patted her head with utmost care.... Confusing Nandini...... How can a monster be so sweet....!!

Manik said (softly yet lovingly) :
Go freshen up and meet me downstairs ....we will have breakfast together and then some important discussion....

Not understanding what's happening with the monster she nodded and went to freshen up...

Manik smiled....  Thinking about the little munchicken who has just entered his life and changed the monster to a human in only a couple of days...

After 30 minutes ...

Nandini came down and found Manik  sitting in the sofa she went and stood in front of him and cleaned her throat to grab his attention... Smiling Manik looked at her....

She was wearing a cute sa sundress which ended just above her knees..... Manik smiled looking at her whereas the latter frowned......

After having breakfast in an awkward silence where none of the two uttered a word... Nandini initiated

Nandini (trying to be rude.....mark the words "trying "): ca... can w... we talk busi....business ?

Manik smiled and nodded...

Manik : come sit.....(pointing next to him ) but Nandini being Nandini sat in front of him.... making him angry ...

Manik (sternly) : I said sit next to me.... Shivering Nandini stood up moving towards him and sat next to him.... Whereas her head remained fixed to the ground.....

Manik gently held her hand and caressing it with his thumb started

Manik : bab... Nandini.... I know we didn't have a good start but it would be better if we try and forget what happened and start a fresh.....

Taking a deep breath.... Manik : I have an offer for u...!

Nandini (being the naive soul) : wha... What off.. Offer...??!

Manik (smiled and said) : that you will be living with me.... I will take care of all your needs.... Be it your food,  health or physical needs.... Anything....

Nandini : what physical needs?

Manik : you will get to know....

Nandini :okay...

Manik  :  in return you need to obey me,  trust me and listen to whatever I say.... Without any questions  cause I don't like someone questioning me.....

Nandini just nodded

Manik : always remember that I will take care of u and will always do the best for you.... And the most important of all.... If you disobey me u get punished...

Nandini: okay...

Manik : in all way I will play the role of ur dad and u will be my cute little baby girl...

Nandini listening "dad" her eyes glistened and now she was all Okay with the offer.... All she thought is she will again have someone to take care of her just the way her dad used to....

She always used to miss her dad and yearned for someone who would take care of her just like her dad....

Nandini muttered an OK and flunged into Manik's arms  making him breathe in happiness....

Slowly caressing her head Manik asked with utmost love and care 

Manik: what happened baby...? 

Nandini said nothing and just hugged him even tighter....

Still in the hug Nandini asked Manik something slowly... Her voice held fear... Fear of making him angry...

Nandini : can I... Can I call u daddy...? 

There was silence... She was confused not knowing how Manik will take it ... What if he gets angry and leaves her she will be all alone once again with none to take care of her... ...

Scared she looked at Manik.... and what he said.....
