Chapter 8~ The Way You Make Me Feel

[Annie's POV]

I'm finally home right now, and I'm just sitting on the couch watching TV and eating popcorn. Mom and Dad are out to visit my Aunt as she's not been feeling well. Emma is in her room talking on the phone with her best friend and what I'm thinking about right now, is obviously Michael and my misunderstanding at college. But I guess Katy's right, we're acting like babies it was just a peck. But actually, if I ask my heart about it I just miss him. Maybe his laugh, the way he talks and blushes it's kinda cute to me. Also, Katy, who's just became my best friend, it's just so nice to have her and Chris along with Michael feels like my life is hella complete but wait.. Not with Michael. Does he want me to just get away from him? Or is he mad at me? Or?? Goodness, I have to get my mind off of this. I walk up to Emma's room to see exactly what she's doing and there she is.

"What?! Really? They've got sale on them? Oh, holy Mary! This is crazy.. I just wish there were no storms, so we could just buy some. But don't worry, we'll get them before anyone else." she says on the phone while talking to her best friend.

"Emma? Could you just stop acting crazy?" I whisper, as I lie down on her bed.

"Yeah, okay.. I'll talk to you later.. Good Bye! Take care.. Muahh.." She says as she hangs up.

"What were you guys talking about?" I ask.

"You know what?! There's a huge sale on some extremely beautiful bags! Girl, they're way too expensive and amazing! I wanna buy some!" she replies in excitement.

"Oh come on, Emma, you already have many bags with you. Do you want to build a shop or what?" I say as I eye her.

"What's the problem with that? I mean.. I can have as many as I want. There's no offence with it. If I like something, I will have it no matter how much the quantity is." she replies, proudly.

"Yeah.. One day you'll marry a guy, and then you'll marry another and say 'If I like something, I will have it.' It's something like that, right?" I reply as I laugh, softly.

"I'll tell you what's right!" She says as we begin a pillow fight over there.

[Michael's POV]

I was just at Chris' house as he lives only with his Father. His father is just like him, friendly, cool and open minded. I really like these kind of people I wish I was like that, too, but that's not how my mother raised me she raised me as a responsible person and that's the only reason why I can't handle stuff with as much ease and a carefree attitude.

To Chris, things are like - yeah, okay, chill. But to me, they are really complicated. Right now, I don't know why but I just miss Annie which is strange. After the event, today, I don't think she even likes me, anymore, but for pushing a girl away and hurting her feelings like that this is exactly what I deserve. I can accept it, but I don't want this to happen I don't know why. I just wish this week flies off soon. As Janet and me are in the same college, I had to bring her at Chris' house with me and she's just sitting in his late mother's room, I think I need to check on her once she maybe feeling a little lonely up there.

"We'll go the mall and have everything we want. What else can be perfect than this? Yes, so I should just text her and tell her about this." she talks to herself not noticing me.

"Umm.. Janet?" I say as she lifts her eyes up to see me.

"Oh, god, Michael! You scared me!. What are you doing out there? Come in.." she says.

"I just thought you were too busy with your BFF stuff." I say, smiling.

"Yeah! You got it! You know what? There's a sale in the mall for 15 days and they have the perfect accessories for girls especially, the bags there.. Oh man, you should see them they're so pretty!" she says jumping.

"Janet... You already own many.. Still you want more?" I ask as I raise my eyebrows.

"But Michael, they're prettier than ever.. And I can't just let it go. But if you say so...I'll not buy any." she says as she looks down.

"Hey, look Janet that's fine, you don't have to get upset. Okay, look, I'm sorry.. You can surely buy them. After all, I don't know much about girls, what they like and what they don't so, maybe now, I know girls love shopping. Don't feel down, Janet, you are free to buy anything you want." I say as I lift her head up.

"Oh, Michael! I just wish everyone was as understanding as you are! I'm so lucky that you're my brother, at least from the 5 others you are the one I can count on, even Rebbie and LaToya think that I'm crazy to act like a kid." she says while hugging me.

"Being a kid isn't a bad thing, you can do anything you want, Janet. You're a free and independent girl and I'm proud of you." I say as we both smile. I just wish after this everything in my life gets perfect.

Aww sibling relationship is the best relationship you can ever have.
