Chapter 13~ What Now?

(Annie's POV)

  I simply can't believe Katy commited suicide. She was never like that.. the Katy I knew used to be the one who gives courage to people to never give up. And now she.. We are just walking with Katy's bed and we are all filled with tears especially Chris "You're going to be okay. You hear me?!" he yells. Just then the doctor stops us as he takes Katy in the Emergency Room. "She'll be okay. Willn't she?" Chris asks Michael while hiding his tears. Michael simply nods patting his back. Chris cries some more on Michael's jacket. Chris will die out of shame if something happened to Katy.

(Michael's POV)

Its been a long day Chris has been crying for the whole day and Annie too. Watching both of my best friends cry, and one of them is in the hospital. What could be more worse? I just wish Katy recovers as soon as possible. Chris is fast asleep on the waiting place and Annie is probably in a big shock. I think I should do something. 

"Hey..." I take seat beside her. 

"Hey." she replies still looking down.

"Annie.. look.."

As soon as I was about to say she hugs me and starts crying on my jacket. "Why did this have to happen, Michael. Just why?" she sobs. "Shh Annie.. it's going to be okay." I say running my hand through her hair. "Look at Chris, I've never seen him that sad before." she hugs me tighter. "Annie?" I take hold of her. "Yeah?" she looks up at me. "Do you believe in love? True love?" I ask. "Yeah.. I do. but why?" she looks up at me. "That's it! Now just believe that with the power of Chris' true love towards Katy, things will be perfect again." I reply. "Really?" her eyes light up. "Yes." I smile. "Oh Michael.." she hugs me again.
