(Chris' POV)
I am still in a big shock for what has happened. I see, I'm the reason for all this. This is all my damn fault. I shouldn't have listened to Dad. I lied to Michael. The girl I kissed was not only my Dad's friend's daughter but also she was my ex-girlfriend Sophia. She was really nice to me at first but then one day, I saw her going hand in hand with a guy whom she told that she loves him. She cheated on me. I was heartbroken and that was the time I met Katy. She knew the story of my heartbreak and she also knew who Sophia was. Still she accepted me the way I was and me, being the ass I am, I screwed everything. The day I got drunk, Sophia just walked up to me seductively, and came close to me to kiss me, I couldn't control myself and gave in and that's how it all happpened. I can understand what Katy went through, but I didn't knew she'd do this and now I feel this guilt eating me up. "Hmm. I see, you lied to me." I hear Michael say. "What do you mean?" I ask. "Well, I just heard whatever you said." He replies. Oh my God was I speaking my thoughts out loud?
"Why can't you trust me, Chris?"
"I do trust you, Mike. I was just so-"
"You were just so what, Chris?!"
"Try to understand, Michael. You're my best friend! I don't want you to feel ashamed of me.."
"How can you even think that, Chris?! Best friends are those who are with each other no matter what! And you thought I'd leave you?! That shows how much you trust me, Chris!"
"I'm sorry, Mike. I was so connfused! I'm really sorry, man.."
I was really ashamed of what I did at first with Katy and now with Michael. Ugh! This is the worst day of my life. He sighed and kept his hand on my shoulder. "It's okay, Chris." he replies. My eyes light up and I hug him. Suddenly, I remembered about Annie. Oh man, I totally forgot her! "How's Annie?" I ask. "Oh, she just fell asleep. She cried a lot then I made her sleep." he replies. "Like how?" I raise my eyebrow at him. He chuckles, "Don't even go there Chris!" he commands. "OKay okay!" I laugh. At least, there is something good about today and that is the increasing bond of Michael and Annie.
